And the students started to leave the stadium by groups, pairs, and some, alone. Just like Bae Rona, who walked by herself among the sea of students. However, she didn't mind that, instead she was much grateful to have a big time for herself without anyone being a nuisance. The kids in this school can't be trusted anyways, so she thinks its much better this way.

"Eomma!"

"Rona-yah, oh, what's the fuss? You seem happy, did something good happened at school?"

"Yep! I have great news Eomma!"

Yoonhee tilted her head at her daughter's enthusiasm and stopped what she was doing for while, taking her reading glasses off. Rona excitedly sat beside her mother and taking her hand in hers, a wide smile etched on her pretty face.

"Our school is going to pick one candidate among seven students to become the school's representative at a big event— and guess what?"

"You, my dear talented daughter, got chosen with those seven students, am I right?"

"Yes! Mom, I'm so happy!"

Yoonhee chuckled as Rona engulfed her in a big hug, patting her back in the process. Of course, she was very much proud of her daughter.

'Maybe this is the sign that Rona will achieve my dreams...' Yoonhee thought as a warm feeling surged inside her heart. Rona was growing up quickly right in front of her eyes, and Yoonhee couldn't be any happier.

"I'm very proud of you, dear..."

"Thank you, mom, but I'm not yet done! I'm gonna make you much prouder!"

Yoonhee chuckled at her daughter's eager remarks but deep down, she knew that whatever Rona do, she'd always be proud and supportive of her. After a few more talks, Rona was off to bed, and Yoonhee was left to finish her work.

She held her pen, but she couldn't think straight as her mind was busy wandering off. She had a lot to think about, but not negative thoughts tho.

Shim Suryeon...

Yes, the lady of the Penthouse has been bugging Yoonhee's mind for quite a while now.

It has been a week since their lunch dates started, and Yoonhee would lie of she says she doesn't enjoy her company. Everyday felt like knowing each other more, and it was honestly a thrill for the redhead. Suryeon was, indeed, much more than what people can see. Behind her vibrant elegance was a humorous lady who never fails to put a smile on Yoonhee's face.

Speaking of the angel, Yoonhee's phone rang and she saw the caller's name, Suryeon Unnie♡. Actually, it was Suryeon who typed in that name, saying that it was much cuter that way.

She released a sigh, before finally answering the call.

"Hello, Suryeon unnie..."

A/N: So finally, after so many months, my brain has functioned well to continue this story 😅

However, I will be updating slowly because I'm still not quite sure of how I should unfold the story. Yes, I do have a plot in mind, but writing down the chapters and thinking of how I should construct the flow of the story is quite hard 🥺👉👈
