The rest of the week had gone by pretty quickly and nothing out of the ordinary had happened. It was now Saturday. Most of the time, you'd prefer to be at home by yourself, but with your mother around, that wasn't really possible. You loved her, but having to be around her was too toxic for you. You decided to text your friends to see if they were busy.

Bokuto picked up Suzumeda first, then you. She sat in the passenger seat, so you took the back.

"What movie are we watching?", asked Bokuto

"It doesn't matter. I heard about this new horror-comedy movie. How about that?"

"Definitely not", said Suzumeda. "Those things give me nightmares for days."

"It's more comedy than horror. What do you suggest?"

"Anything but horror."

You put on your seatbelt and the car took off. Changing the subject, Suzumeda casually asked, "So you and Akaashi, huh?"

You kick her seat. "No. Stop that."

"I'll throw you out if you mess up my car", Bokuto said to you. You leaned back in your seat.

"How'd you even manage to figure out I like him?"

Suzumeda laughed. "Well, you're not the most subtle person. You're always staring at him."

"I'm really that obvious?", you questioned.

"You're like a cat in heat when you see him", Bokuto added. "Why don't you just tell him?"

Maybe because I don't have the best luck with those kinds of things? Or maybe I'm afraid of rejection? I don't even know anymore.

You've only been in one serious relationship, but that ended some months ago.

"I'm gonna completely ignore that first part. But no, I won't tell him. It's just a little crush. It'll pass soon."

"Yeah right. All these months and it's still just 'a little crush', Bokuto teased.

"Do you guys have anything better to do than discuss my love life?", you say sarcastically.
