It's been like fifteen seconds. Why isn't he saying anything? Damn, I knew this was a bad idea.

"Uh... hello? You there?"

There was silence.

Fuck.

As you were about to end the call, he spoke.

"I'm here. I was just trying to process what you said. What's this about?"

"Are you gonna answer my question first?"

"Answer mine", he said.

"I asked first."

"And I asked second."

You sigh in annoyance. "This was a mistake."

You were about to hang up and heard him laugh.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Where do you wanna meet up?"

"It doesn't really matter? Wherever is fine."

"And you can't say this over the phone why?"

"It just feels weird."

"Mmh..... okay. I'll be at the skate park tomorrow around 2. Is that okay for you?"

"That's fine."

"See you then". Then he hung up.

Okay... that wasn't so bad. But it's tomorrow I should be worried about.

You got yourself ready that Saturday afternoon. The skate park was about a 15-minute walk from your house. You got there around 2:15 and from a distance, you could see Akaashi and a few other guys skating and talking; none of which you knew.

You didn't feel like intruding so you decided to wait until he was done. He happened to turn his head to see you sitting on a bench. When he finished hanging with his friends, they left and he came over to you.

"Hey", he said.

"Hey."

He says next to you leaving a space in between.

"What's up? What did you wanna talk about?"

Straight to the point huh? I don't even know what I'm gonna say.

"It's about your... what you said."

"I say a lot of things, Y/n. You're gonna have to be more specific." He smirked. He knew what you meant but he wanted to hear you say it.

"Your... I don't even know what to call it. Offer? What we talked about last week."

Offer? Damn, I probably sound like some cheap whore right now.

"An offer? That's what you call it?"

"Don't mind what I call it. Look, we go on break in around two weeks. So I thought, why not make the most of it right?"

"I like where this is heading."

"Anyway, what I'm is I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of continuing what we're doing. And just to be clear, we'd only be doing this during the break."

"You really thought this through."

"Not really. It was kind of a last-minute decision", you say. "So what do you say?"

"I'm cool with that", he answered.

"So that's it?", you say. "That was easier than I thought.

"You sound like you planned this in your head."
