Sebastian's POV

I nervously wiped my sweaty hands on my trousers, after seeing Aubrey I few times I was still nervous knocking on her door. Just because I knew she could do better, she was young and pretty, and an upcoming model. I was mid-thirties, not exactly something I would describe as pretty, and my carreer had been going for over 15 years.

Normally I wouldn't let insecurities get in the way of something that was going great, but I was so scared to lose the little bond that we had built, although we hadn't known each other for that long in reality, it felt as though I'd known her all my life.

I finally built up the courage to actually knock on the door, within 30 seconds it swings open to reveal a smiling Aubrey, wearing a little black dress and heels. "Hi." I say, returning her smile, and offering her my arm.

She took my arm, linking ours together as we walked to the elevator, "Hi, back." she said with a small chuckle. "So, where are we going?"

"A small restaurant," I answered her question, "Anthony told me the food was good." I added, knowing I could trust Anthony when it came to food, he had good taste.

Aubrey's POV

After a pleasant dinner, we walked through the city. Talking about everything and nothing, conversations about random things flowed. I didn't think I had enjoyed myself this much in a long time, my last boyfriend wasn't the romantic type, not to mention it was a few years ago.

"I really enjoyed our time together," Sebastian said, "You know, I feel like we've known each other for years." He stopped walking, grabbing my hand in his big one.

I turned to face him, leaning in slightly as he did the same. "I know what you mean." I said softly, almost in a whisper. My answer made him smile, his other hand moving to my cheek, grabbing it a little harshly and pulling me into a kiss.

The kiss turned from passionate to non-existent in a matter of seconds when a camera flashed, blinding me in to process, as it went straight into my eyes. Sebastian had already pulled away, a slightly panicked look in his eyes as he pulled me behind him, hiding me from the camera.

We started walking away quickly, his hand still holding mine, pulling me with him in his fast steps. When we got to my apartment he started apologising a hundred times, "It's not your fault, it's fine." I reassured him, putting my arms around his torso, envolping him into a hug that he gladly returned.

"I'm still very sorry." He said into my hair, sighing deeply.

"I know."
