Aubrey's POV
About seven months ago I was scouted when walking to work, the woman that came up to me was a modelling agent and wanted me to do some test shots. So I did and after a few months of working hard to perfect my form, she sent in the photo's to some brands.
In all honesty I had kind of forgotten about the whole thing because of the exam stress. But now my exams were over, life was getting a bit less chaotic and I just got a call, that Chanel wanted me to model for them? I had done a little modelling when I was a kid, so I was no stranger to it, but modelling for Chanel was a dream come true.
I sat in front of my mirror, Doja Cat blasting through my speaker while I did my make up, I promised Lola to go out with her in celebration. Lola was my best friend, she was always there to pull me out of my comfort zone and to make sure I was okay, and I did the same for her. Not even 10 minutes later i heard the doorbell and opened the door for Lola.
"Oh my God, hi!" I said, hugging her and pulling her into my apartment.
"I have missed you so much!" She said to me, taking her coat off en sitting down on the couch.
"It has only been four days" I giggled, Lola and I never went long without seeing each other, we had basically been inseparable since the 10th grade. "But, I have missed you too."
"My best friend is going to model for Chanel, I'm so proud." She smiled at me walking over and grabbing my shoulders, looking me in the eye, "You really are that bitch."
I snorted at that, and Lola laughed too. "Thanks? I guess." I laughed. "Now let's go put on a hot outfit and have fun!"
-- an hour later --
"Deux shots de tequila, s'il vous plaÎt." I asked the bartender, Lola and me already had a glass of champagne, the real celebratory drink, now it was time to have fun. The bartender handed me my drinks with a wink, "Merci!" I said, before turning away and walking back to Lola.
"Ready?" Lola asked, I nodded my head yes, "One, two, three.." We both licked the salt of our hands, downed the tequila shot and put the lime wedge into our mouths. Coughing a bit I took a sip of the cherry cola I had ordered before.
"Merde, c'était fort!" I said to her, still coughing from the strength of the shot. "Oh! I know him!" I said to Lola, as I saw a familiar man walk into the bar.
"How do you know him?" Lola asked me, confused.
"I gave him directions. And he walked into the café I was studying in, and we talked for a bit. His name is Sebastian." I answered.
"What? You met a hot ass man and you didn't tell me about it?!" Lola exclaimed, looking at me offended. "And you call yourself my bestfriend." She shaked her head at my while I just sat there laughing, being beyond 'just a bit buzzed'.
"I'm sorry! I was busy, I had exams!" I tried to defend, but it was a lost cause.
"Okay fine, I'll forgive you. Just this once, and just because he's like, really hot." She said to me with a smirk, I laughed again and pulled her to the dancefloor.
