Sebastian's POV:

Eventhough I'd probably never admit it out loud, I came here to be annoying. Haha very childish I know. But it sucked to see Aubrey be all happy and fine and doing new projects and overall just being her succesful self while I was on the verge of a mental breakdown every day.

Margarita knew that we weren't serious, at least I hope she did, I wasn't over Aubrey. She was just something else, we hadn't even been together for that long but it felt like she had been my highschool sweetheart, someone I'd never forget.

But arriving here, seeing everyone all dressed up and ready to go see the movie they had worked on I suddenly felt guilty. I couldn't let my own pride ruin Aubrey's and Timothée's night, wether Aubrey deserved it or not I didn't know but I did know that Timothée didn't deserve it.

So, I spent the whole night trying to blend in with the crowd, overall I was pretty succesful, except for that one moment where Aubrey first saw me and she froze, looking like she saw a ghost. After the reporters got their pictures we went to watch the movie, it wasn't really my cup of tea but I couldn't deny that it was good. I saw how hard Timothée worked on it and his scene with Aubrey was amazing.

When the movie was finished and the credits rolled there was a round of applause which I gladly joined. After that there was of course the afterparty, I decided it would be bad manners to leave immediately after the movie and promised to stay for just one drink, to not be rude.

Aubrey's POV:

The movie turned out amazing, as I had expected, Timmy did a phenomenal job and the few minutes of screen time that I had weren't as bad as I had expected either. But throughout the whole movie the thought that Sebastian was in one of these seats, watching the same thing as me, couldn't leave my mind. And walking out of the theatre, hearing 'congrats' coming from every side I couldn't help but search the room for him.

I found him at the bar, please don't, I know how you handle your alcohol, we made brief eye contact but I couldn't hold it for me than a few seconds and quickly looked away.

Taking a few deep breaths I tried to calm myself down, when I didn't feel like I was about to faint anymore I started to walk towards the bar where Sebastian was standing.

Immediately he noticed me coming his way, he straightened his back and waited for me while I tried to get through the crowd.

When I got to the bar I noticed how bad he looked, bags under his eyes and his blue eyes didn't seem so blue anymore. "Can I talk to you?" My tone indicated it wasn't really a question, more of a command and I was glad he picked up on it.

"Lead the way."

We walked outside, me still angry and he seemed to be fine, only a bit sleep deprived. "What are you doing here?" I said, now sounding angry.

"I-uh, I don't know. Look, I'm sorry. I was upset and I decided it would be a good idea to come here and, and, and I don't know." He sighed, rubbing his face with his hands, "It was pathetic and I'm sorry."

"Yes, it was pathetic." I wasn't about to lie to him, I don't care that he looked like a sad puppy.

His face now turned angry too, but it looked like he composed himself quick enough. But, not before mumbling under his breath 'not as pathetic as you but-'

Fuck that.

I closed the door behind us so we wouldn't be heard, now I was fucking mad. "Excuse you, I didn't give up our relationship so you could have a career just for you to call me pathetic?!"

...annddd immediate regret.

"You what?!"
