Aubrey's POV
Lola was on one of my sides, a bottle of champagne ready, Camille was on my other side, the tc remote in her hand. Today was the day the fragrance commercial was releasing, in about 2 minutes it was supposed to be on the tv for the first time. I was so excited, this was a huge thing, I was about to be the, temporary, face of Chanel.
"Oh my God!" I yelled, seeing my face on the tv. Lola popped the bottle of champagne while Camille gave me a big hug, she gave us all a glass of champagne.
"Ahem" She theatrically cleared her throat, "Aubrey, I love you to death, I'm so proud of you! First you land this amazing ad, and you're going to fashion week in just two days, I really couldn't be more proud." Lola said dramatically, we clinked our glasses and drank our champagne.
J U L Y 26th
Fashion week started today, I was so excited. I was also freaking the fuck out, calm down, I thought to myself. But everything seemed to be going wrong, I smudged my eyeliner, my straightener wouldn't turn on, and my hand were shaking.
You know when nothing is going right, and you just cry from frustration? That was me, I was sitting on my bathroom floor, eyeliner in my hand, bawling my eyes out.
I managed to call Lola, luckily she picked up and was on her way to my apartment.
I couldn't calm myself down, my thoughts were running wild. Lola showed up and talked me out of the panic attack she told me I was having. She helped me get ready and assured me I would be fine, and within an hour I was in the car Camille had sent for me.
When I got out there were camera's flashing, taking pictures of my every move. Camille guided me to the red carpet, I was representing Chanel today so I had to do a lot of photos.
Standing on the red carpet I posed for the photographers, when suddenly I heard a voice I hadn't heard in a while, but I recognised nonetheless.
"Aubrey?"
