"What? I, uh, I thought we were on the same line."

Aubrey's POV:
I was flying to New York today, I would be there for a few weeks to shoot a movie. I still couldn't believe that I got a part in an actual movie, I was feeling very grateful that I used to act a little as a kid and knew what to expect.
Being in NYC also meant I could see Sebastian again, I had really missed him the last two weeks. Of course I knew he had to work, and the time we had together I had skipped out on a few work things too, which Camille wasn't happy about. But I still missed him, and hoped we could spend some time together.
Lola and me were not doing that great, nothing had happened, we just weren't as close as we used to be and I feared going to another city would only drive us further apart. But I had to take the oppertunity, I had promised myself to not lose contact during my time away and I intended to keep that promise.
I was walking through the airport, it was pretty hot for a late summer day. I had been stupid, chosing to wear a pink tanktop and jeans for an 8 hour flight. I was thankful that the jeans I chose were at least a little bit comfortable.
"Oh my God is that Aubrey Martin?" I heard someone whisper, a little confused I looked around to see where the voice came from. But I couldn't see who said it, we were at a big airport. Did I just get recognised for the first time? This is wild, someone actually knows me.
