The Lost Luna

Chapter 6- The Pack

I had just gotten discharged and was in Kyle's arms as he ran with incredible speed to the pack house. I was in awe at everything about the pack. You could see people to the left side of the pack house training in their wolf and human forms. On the right you could see a group of teens talking about getting their first shift and how some of them have already found there mates. This was all new and exiting but also scary so I huddle closer to Kyle and he smiles. As we walk inside I'm taken aback at how much busier it is inside. There's people everywhere. There's people cooking dinner, people talking about official pack business, and just people talking and playing games. Kyle walks up to the 5th floor, the top floor, and opens a door to a huge and lavish room. I look around to see a huge bed in the middle, with a desk on the left, a door to the bathroom in-between the desk and the bed. On the right a bookshelf and a comfy looking windowseat next to a huge window overlooking a large, beautiful lake. On the front wall across from the bed is a huge TV. Kyle gently sets me on the bed before walking into a closet on the other side of the desk. A little bit later he emerges with some clothes in his hands.

"Here put these on, you'll be way more comfortable." He tosses me a huge white shirt and a pair of black joggers. "Let me know when you're done or if you need help." He says as he walks into the bathroom and shuts the door. I take off the dirty white shirt I had on, that must've been Kyle's and slip on the clean clothes he gave me. Before calling him back I tie a knot in the right side of my shirt to make it fit me better and tie the strings of the sweatpants tighter to better fit me too.

"OK you can come in." I tell him and he walks out and stares at me.

"Wow I really do have a gorgeous mate." He says as he climbs into bed and gently pulls me next to him. He turns on the TV and starts watching a show and I suddenly find I'm sleepy again so I close my eyes and sleep again.

Kyle POV

I look next to me and see that my cute little mate is asleep. This makes me happy that she's comfortable enough with me to fall asleep cuddled up next to me. I wrap my arm behind he and grab her waist to pull her closer to me. She moves a little but doesn't wake up. She puts her right arm on my chest and nuzzles closer to me. I can't help but look at her beautiful sleeping face.

I finally found my mate, I almost lost her after just finding her but luckily I found her in time. I can't wait till she heals and I can show her how much I care for her. I'll take her on dates and introduce her as the Luna to my pack. But right now I can be happy that she's cuddled up right next to me. I soon find myself tired and fall asleep as well.

Paige POV

I wake up to a knock on the door.

"Alpha dinner is ready." The male voice behind the door calls. I look beside me and see Kyle is staring at me.

"Have a tray prepared with two meals on it in the kitchen, I'll be down soon to bring it up." Kyle tells the man, still staring at me.

"Yes Alpha." The man replies as he leaves.

"How are you feeling?" Kyle asks me as he plays with my hair.

"Way better. Thank you for saving me." I tell him and he sits up and looks at me with some hurt in his eyes.

"No, don't thank me. I am your mate, there's nothing I wouldn't do for you. I know we just met but I want you to trust me and love me as you get to know me. When you are ready, I'll make you my Luna." He tells me as he plants a kiss on my forehead.

"What! You're an Alpha!" I say bolting up, which pains me but I'm to stunned to care. Kyle is an Alpha, and since I'm his mate I'll be a Luna. He looks at me in amusement as I can tell he's trying to to laugh.

"Yes, I'm the Alpha of the Black Mist Pack." I look at him in confusion." It's the biggest pack in the world and takes up most of America." He tells me and I can't help but be amazed. "What pack where you from?" He asks me.

"Um, none?" I say and he looks at me in confusion. "My parents died when I was 10 and I didn't even know I was a werewolf until yesterday." I truthfully tell him.

"Well, this is interesting." He says.
