Ashley

Ruel POV.

It's been two week now of sitting beside her bed hoping she's gonna open her eyes and jump into my arms. Her face has healed mostly she just has a few bruises and cuts still but apart from that she's mostly healed, the other day they took her tube out and she's breathing mostly on her own. Ashley was supposed to be here soon and I'm hoping her familiar voice will wake her.

I never imagined being this set back. On the realise of her album I was gonna ask her to be my girlfriend again, I begged her for weeks before the accident to let me listen to it but she's stubborn and she made me wait. That seems so small now, I just want her to wake up so I can give her everything I didn't while she was awake.

When the door opens and Ashley and Alev walk in I stand up and immediately hug Ashley. It was the first time I'd ever seen her or even talked to her but she looked like she needed a hug more than I did. She had a tiny little bump and was waddling round like a penguin. She eventually lets me go and she looks over to Sage who was laid breathing slowly.

"She looks awful" Ashley whines.

"She erm, she's breathing on her own but still no sign of her waking up. She has odd twitches which are good things but the doctor says it's starting to look less hopeful" I sigh sitting back down.

"Have you tried singing to her?" She asks.

"My guitars at home but I was singing a bunch of my songs, your songs, Colsons. I played music I brought Ayla to see her we've all been talking to her constantly, I've fucking sat in this chair and cried for nights on end begging her to wake up" I say grabbing her hand shakily.

"Do you wanna go home and shower and things and Alev and I will sit here and talk to her?" She asks me.

"Okay" I nod agreeing immediately.

I get up from my chair grabbing my jacket and I head out the room to go home and shower. I needed to try stomach some food but I don't know wether I'll be able to or not.
