Addison walked Meredith into the hospital propping her up as they walked because Meredith was so nervous, Bailey met them at the door and she took them to an exam room in the back of the hospital as to not draw attention to them both.
"Okay Meredith can you lie on the bed for me and roll your shirt up I need to examine your stomach"
"Umm do I have to" Meredith asks nervously and looks to Addison for reassurance
"Bailey just needs to check you out I will be right here the whole time" Addison says to reassure the nervous Meredith
Meredith allows Bailey to lift her shirt up to expose her stomach, Meredith winces as this but Bailey just continues she touches her stomach but Meredith isn't in pain so she goes for some scans to see if it's internal, Bailey comes back with Meredith but her scans come back clear so Bailey says it is her food making her unwell Bailey also told Addison to take Meredith to doctor Wyatt's office right away to get her weight done because she was clearly very thin, Bailey hugs them both before leaving the room because she was getting paged 911.
"I know your not going to like this but I have to take you to doctor Wyatt's office because Bailey is concerned as am I"
"Addie no what the fuck no you told me this was a quick appointment" Meredith shouts
"Come on sweetie we are going it won't do any harm to get advice and plus I need to know what kind of foods to feed you that won't make you unwell"
Meredith reluctantly lets Addison take her to the psych floor and to their psychiatrists office, doctor Wyatt greets them and tells Meredith to sit on the bed.
"Okay Meredith I need to weigh you now so please get on the scale for me"
"NO NO NO NO" Meredith jumps off the table and tries to run for the door
"Meredith please get on that scale right now" Addison pleads
"Addison no what the fuck you said we were coming to speak not for me to get fucking WEIGHED" Meredith now thrashing her arms as Addison holds her and pulls her towards the scale
"Let me the fuck go Addison!"
"No this is for your own good" as Addison promptly lifts the girl and puts her on the scale and before Meredith even realised what just happened Dr Wyatt got a reading and it was very very low.
"Okay now Meredith we need to have you on a NG tube because you cannot have normal food as your body cannot process it hence your awful stomach pains, and I'm not sure you will be able to get her to take ensures because she was so reluctant in hospital" doctor Wyatt motions towards Addison as she says this
"No I'm not going on a tube I'm not going into the ward I refuse point blank"
"I never said you were going into the ward, I figured as you and Addison are both doctors you could receive the treatment at home which would probably make you more comfortable seeing as you have already forgiven Addison for putting you on a scale" she says this as Meredith is now curled in Addisons lap shaking from fear
"Mer how does that sound I can help you through this I got you whatever you need I'm here" Addison coos
"Uh mhffm oh-oh-okay" Meredith spluttered
"Okay Meredith I'm going to give Addison your feeds and obviously a stand for it to hang on and a portable pump as well, you should have 3 small feeds a day for the first week then medium the second then large for the third week and if you comply to this we can stop the tube feeding and move on to actual food, how does that sound Meredith?" Doctor Wyatt asks
"I I it's fine I guess"
"Come on mer let's get you home"
Addison carries Meredith out to the car in her arms and pops her in the front passenger seat she was now crying furiously and it broke Addison.
"Hey hey Mer it's okay we can get home and we can cuddle okay we can take a bath and then feed you okay babe"
"I don't want to get fed Addie I can't breathe I can't sleep I can't do anything I'm so lost and I can't find myself I need you to hold me please" Meredith wailed into Addisons lap
"Mer I need to drive home first okay then your feed and cuddles then a bubble bath okay"
"Can you at least hold my hand as you drive Addie"
"Sure thing sweetie"
Addison drove home as Meredith was sobbing eventually they arrived and Addison just carried Meredith to her room and popped her on the bed while she set up her feed and made herself a microwave meal, Addie came into Merediths room to find her shaking and still crying.
"Mer baby I have your feed I know you don't like this but it has to be done okay please let me put in your NG tube and I can cuddle you while your getting your feed okay?"
"Addie I can't please"
"I know it's not nice c'mere let me comfort you"
Meredith let Addison put her tube in she ate her dinner as Mer cried on her lap, Addison rubbed reassuring circles on Merediths back and once she had finished her dinner she pulled her close to her and hushed and caressed Meredith until she calmed down.
"Thanks Addie can we have a bath now I'm feeling better maybe this isn't so bad I want to get better for you I'm trying I promise" Mer realised she likes Addison as more than friends she told her that once although Meredith was unsure she remembered that conversation or not.
"Addie can I talk to you for a sec before you start running the bath"
"Sure thing sweetie what's up"
"I don't remember if you remember me telling you this but I like you as more than a friend and once I'm better I want to take this further I just don't know if you would and I- I just don't really know to be honest I just know I like you more than a friend or even a best friend I don't know I'm sorry I'm rambling" Meredith blushes as she says this and Addison just looks into her eyes and cups her face with her hand and softly says
"Meredith I feel the same way I need you to get better before we take it anywhere okay but I like you a lot and I'm glad you told me so let's go and have our bath beautiful" Addison says to Meredith sweetly hoping to boost Merediths confidence.
"Cmon Addie I'm not beautiful your just saying that but your amazing and stunning and leggy and fabulous so let's go have a bubble bath" with that said Meredith walks to the en-suite bathroom and starts to run the bath for the both of them and Addison quickly follows behind.
"Meredith your amazing ,stunning, beautiful even though you may not think it but I love you for who you are and I'm going to cherish my moments with you because I need you to feel loved once and for all I want to make you feel good"
"I love you too Addie I appreciate it I'm going to try so so hard to get better I'm going to take all my feeds and after I've finished my treatment then I want to take it to first base and kiss you as a reward for making it this far, it will motivate me because Addison it is taking everything in me not to jump you right here and now"
"Mhmmm okay Mer let's take a bath"
Meredith and Addison wash each others hair and massage the knots out of their muscles, they go to bed and snuggle up beside one another Meredith being the small spoon because Addison wants to make Mer feel safe and loved, they both fall asleep content that they professed their love for one another and they are both buzzing for their first kiss.
