Prologue

It seeps deep into my skull, and spreads down my neck, and then gravitates to my shoulder. They come; eventually they go. But their visits are often nowadays. Sometimes they pound, while other moments they leave me feeling an ache in my throbbing head. With a twinge on the inside, and unseen by people, it hurts to the point of near crying; just to weep it all, but the tears aren't rolling off my cheeks, so I only shudder from the sobs within. I'm just the way I am; take me or leave me. Quite frankly, I just don't care anymore...
