After dropping off her family at the water park, Bailey stayed in the car for one more minute, to calm her hunger down. She was about to walk them to the front gate but was stopped by Archi.
"I wish to talk with you, Goldie." She gestured the kids to go ahead without them and dragged his sister to the shade.
"Bailey," he grumbled, "may I ask why on Earth you were up at four in the morning?! When I got a text from Manuel saying that you were streaming, I thought he was joking. But it turns out that I was incorrect..."
Bailey sighed and looked at the ground. She tried to fidget with her scarf as she mumbled, "I got caught up in some gang stuff, and I'm in debt."
Her older brother deeply inhaled as he pinched the bridge of his nose under his glasses. "Money troubles... Bailey, with how much money you earn within a month, I honestly doubt that."
"Arch, it's not money," she whined. "It's fighting..."
"F-Fighting?" The topic took him off guard and lose his steel-like composure. "Bailey, no... You can't get involved with something like that! Especially with-"
Bailey huffed as she glared up at him. "I know! With what you signed up for with the whole 'rehabilitation thing,' wolf fighting is going against your morals. But it's just gonna be for one night," she argued. She checked the time on her watch and felt her stomach growl. Archibald sighed. "I'd better get something in my gut... I can already feel my body withdrawing..."
"You better call your doctor, Bailey," he warned. "You'll be going through a lot of things... Have a good day."
They parted ways, Bailey going back to the car and Archi going to watch the kids. Before she started driving, she tried to research for any places to work out, other than the gym. Then she remembered the hairstylist she met the other day. Bailey went on her HunieBee to see that Kyanna was at the gym. And Beli too. She sent her a text real quick before driving off to the gym. Her phone was plugged in to the speakers and playing some summer tune. Her stomach growled once again, ruining her mood. When she got to a red light, Bailey went to the passenger compartment for her extra jerky. Archi stuffed some in there after he saw that it was empty. She ripped the bag open with her teeth and began to eat. The light turned green and she continued to drive.
When she got to the gym, she ate the rest of the bag and got out of the car. She immediately went to the punching bag. Bailey didn't bother with worrying about her clothes. Track pants and a tank top were decent workout attire. She took in a deep breath then began punching it. Using all her energy into each blow, she accidentally broke the chord underneath it so now it would swing. Just as she was about to hit again someone called out.
"Goldie! Good morning!" greeted a soft yet cheery voice.
The hybrid stopped mid-punch and turned to meet Beli in the eyes. She tried her best to smile but it didn't quite reach her eyes.
"Hey, Beli," she muttered back. "I was hoping to catch you here."
"Oh? Were you hoping to join me for my yoga class?" she asked. "You don't have to do that!" Beli's eyes took a quick glance at her toned arms, still flexing from her punching. "I-It looks like you are already busy."
Bailey shrugged. "Eh. I accidentally broke my own workout equipment. Plus, I wanna see what that bod of yours can really do," she flirted. Beli suddenly went scarlet and turned her head away. Bailey laughed to herself before shaking her head. "Nah, if you're feeling that uncomfortable, I don't mind giving you space when you're working." She turned back the punching back and stretched her arms before getting in a fight position. "I'll be here for another hour or two. Maybe I'll catch you after your class today?"
