"Alright, Snowdrop. Uncle Storm and I are gonna show you a few moves we picked up while in the academy," Bailey mentioned. All the furniture in the living room was moved and there were all sorts of blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals. Bailey was in the same pair of jeans but her scarf was off and her shirt had ripped sleeves. "Now, these moves are all for fun so don't use these in front of the teachers."

She nodded with a determined face. Storm stood in front of his sister with his arms a little over his waist, getting ready to make a move, as Bailey stood on the opposite side.

"Now this first move is if your opponent is one the offense. Since you're on the smaller end, try and get underneath them and pull their leg back. Only if you can. Otherwise, just dodge it." Storm pounced forward as Bailey suddenly crouched on all fours. He fell belly first onto a pillow. "Then ya jab their spine!" Before he could even retaliate and get up, his sister brought her leg up and kicked him with her heel.

Their older brother was watching from the dining area at their antics. "You have a new appointment, Goldie. Try not to rough yourself up too much."

Lyra tried to imitate the same kick Bailey just did on her stuffed bear, which squeaked as it fell forward.

Bailey jeered, "Atta girl! But don't put strength in your knee. You can hurt yourself that way. Put it in the waist. Now, upsy daisy, Stormy!" She picked him up by the belt and the collar of his shirt. "If you're around the same weight, you can probably pick up your opponent. Then jump up, and try landing with them!" As she explained, she jumped up a good few feet, forcing her brother down with her arms, and elbowing him on impact. Storm finally tapped out.

"Alright! That one was harsh!" he exclaimed.

The younger sister only scoffed and let him scramble off the fake sparring ring. Lyra then pointed her fingers to her mouth. "What about using our fangs? We can use them against our rival right?"

The hybrid did a slanty gesture with her hand. "That one's a bit iffy for me. I took enhancers when I was your age so my bite strength is considered illegal to fight with," she lectured. "You shouldn't be doing that either way, which is why we wear fang guards."

Storm went to the side to get his drink. "Think of fighting as a dance, Ly." He bounced a little on the balls of his feet. "You express the movement with your limbs and try and get a good tempo." He punched the air twice before twisting around, and repeat. "Hit, hit, dodge. Hit, hit, dodge."

Bailey groaned. "This isn't Street Fighter, ya knucklehead. Wolves don't fight like that. But here are some basic tips."

As she was about to explain, the front door unlocked and Shepherd came back. He jumped a little upon seeing his friends.

"I-I didn't realize that you were bringing L-Lyra," he stammered.

She shrugged it off. "It's all right, Shep. I was just about to give Snow Drop some fighting tips."

"Oh, Goldie's here too?" a cheery voice questioned. As the albino walked inside, a familiar blonde skipped in. Her sunny smile and bright eyes shined as she spotted the hybrid. "Wow! I didn't think that you roomed with a bunch of other people."

Bailey turned back to her daughter when they went to Shepherd's room. "Okay, against big opponents, you're gonna want to focus on speed. Use their weight against them. Ask Uncle Thunder or Atti to spar if you want."

"What about someone smaller?" Lyra asked. "I'm not the smallest like you," the fact shot an arrow through Bailey's pride, and Storm began laughing, "I have a person in my class who's smaller than me."
