The Resemblance Part 1

✨PROLOGUE✨

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Aren't y'all excited!? I've got chills just thinking about it!!"  Amber cheers in her seat.

"New opportunities." I sighed with a smile..

"It about time we went somewhere different. I was getting bored of the same old house" Catlynn looks out the window..

We are currently  on our way  to this college for our powers. The Legendary B.K.U or Broken Arrow University. We've been in the car for a quick minute and haven't argued one bit.  I'm surprised, but glad.

Lace was driving and glances at me through the mirror. "Say Kira. What's the deal with you and bluewolf.?"
She refuses to say Kade's  name.

I glance out the window...
"Uh I mean he's cool, nice, and a great friend. It's kinda weird-I feel like I can trust him with my life." I shrug.  Just play it off .

"Well you getter stop that because Shade isn't too happy with that.." Lace huffs..

"Yeah. You should try not messing  with him.." Caytlnn says.

So like are they warning me off or actually caring about my safety.  "Oh?" I question them.

Amber taps my shoulder.
"Well I think you two would be the strongest team together. I heard Kade have some interesting powers." She winks. She's so sweet.

"Amber I thought we already had this conversation.." Caytlnn growls at her.
What? When did that happen.
I glance back over to Amber to see her arms folded glaring at the window.

Maybe Amber is starting to see why I don't like Caytlnn much..

Once we got to the school we were greeted by a teacher..
I think her name was Mrs. Rabbit. She led us to our dorm room that Roomed for 5, and  man was it awesome..

I was well almost done with my packing until my phone rung. I actually don't get much calls.
I looked down at the screen so see Drew's contact. Odd.  I guess I better answer.
"Heeelllo."

"Kira Ive got bad news." Drew says lowly. He voice wasn't very welcoming. I definitely began to worry.

"Oh." I said almost as a question . "Give me a sec." I walk out the doors and down the hall.
I didn't know what it was he was about to say, and I don't know how I'll take it.
" Okay. What's up?" I sighed.

" Uh Shade and Andrew. They've done something unforgivable..."Drew begins to explains everything to me.

AMBER POV.

I stopped unpacking when I heard crying- or something like it. I walk into the hallway following the sound..

I stop when I found Kira on the floor.
I've never seen her so upset. She's usually so strong.
I guess she was done crying because her eyes were just red from tears.
She looked up to me, but said nothing.

"What happened?" I walked closer..

"Kade.. he's.." she stopped herself.

Did he die? Was there some type of  accident?
I open my arms for a hug. She clinched on to me like a child.. I know I sometimes don't act like it, but she's a real friend to me-I hope Kade is okay. For her sake.

"Is he alive?" I whisper in her ear..
She nods. Then what happened?
"Good. Hey lets get you cleaned up. We don't want you to be seen like this right?"

She nodded then stood up straight.
"Yeah. You're right...that'll be bad."

I smile to her. "Maybe we can talk about this later." I turn beginning to walk back to our room.

During the ride back to our house Kira was silent.. She just stared out the window with this blank expression on her face..
I'm a bit worried for her.. I always am.

She never deserved to be treated wrong.. yeah she's a little different than us, but she's cool.  I wouldn't want to get on her bad side anyways she's super strong. I'm waiting for the day she fights Caytlnn to be honest.

I look at my phone as it goes off. It was from Kira.
'Thanks Ambs. You're a good friend:)'
Awe. I glance over to see her lightly smiling at me. I return it and text her back.
'Anytime.:)'
I respond to her.
I'm just so happy for myself right now.
My phone went off again.. this time from Shade. They've creative a separate group chat without Kira.
'Hey girlies. I've just secured my bby for sure!' She texts us. She's been attempting to get Kade away from Kira. We saw how that turned out.
'I erased his memory of Kira! He doesn't remember a thing about her! Haha;)'

I stared at my phone in disbelief.
This girl is crazy...
You can't erase someone's mind like that.
'Uh you sure that it worked? If so thats great!' Lace txted.
Wait. Lace is driving.

"Stop texting! Geez!"
I glanced up from my phone to see Catlynn scolding Lace for her bad habits.

'100%! I'm going to try and erase Kira's next, but I think drew is on to me...
I just need Kira to Ingest this potion, so she can forget Kade and whatever they had. Meet me when you get home.'
Shade sent a paragraph.
Oh my goodness she has lost it..
I have to tell Kira, but not by text I need to be able to explain it to her..
