Ever since Newt woke up everything went wrong. Well at least for him.
First he woke up way to early and couldn't fall back asleep. Then there was a keeper meeting for 2 hours about one little thing that wasn't even a big deal. And somehow the new greenie managed to cut his own leg while trying out as a Track-hoe so he had to carry him to the med-jacks. In conclusion everything was just going wrong.
Until alby finally screamed that it was lunch time.
So Newt walked over to his Tommy who was finishing up what he was doing in the gardens.
Yes Thomas was a runner but once every week he would get a day off and help Newt in the gardens.
Newt walked up behind Thomas and wrapped his arms around his waist and put his chin on top of his head.
'' You alright there Newt?'' Thomas asked.
Newt just groaned in response.
'' Bad start of the day angel?'' Thomas asked with an amused tone in his voice while turning around and wrapping his arms around Newt pressing his head against Newt's shoulder.
'' Yeah. I guess you could say that, but this makes it better''
Thomas just smiled and pressed a little kiss to his shoulder.
They just stood there for a few minuts until Newt spoke up.
''You hungry love?'' He asked while kissing his head.
He just hummed.
''Is that a yes or a no?''
Thomas pulled the boy closer in reponse.
They stood there hugging each other sharing small kisses until they both had to get back to work.
They got back to working together in the gardens sharing short hugs in between.
When they were completely done for the day the 2 boys were exhausted.
Thomas came up to Newt and just fell against his chest.
Newt snorted.
''Tired Tommy love?''
''A bit yeah''
'' Come on then cutie'' Newt said grabbing the hand of his now blushing boyfriend and pulled him to their hammock.
All they did for the rest of the evening was laying in a hammock talking with Thomas's head laying on Newt's chest. Newt playing with his hair and giving him forehead kisses until they were both fast asleep.
