"Okay so let me get this straight: You, of all people, decided to make a short film to prove to some jerks our age that you're not just a music-geek?" Marinette asked as she sat down on a bench and Luka nodded.

"And now you want us to be a part of this film?" Adrien added and Luka smiled.

"Yup." He responded. Adrien sat down next to Marinette and she moved away from him.

"Man, why do you even care? After all, you are a musical geek." Adrien joked and Marinette rolled her eyes at him. Nonetheless, she couldn't help but agree. She sighed.

"What would we have to do, anyway?" Marinette asked Luka. He started explaining the plot as his two best friends listened carefully.

"Sounds interesting," Adrien said.

"I'm in, under one condition," Marinette told Luka and he raised an eyebrow.

"I get to pick the music we listen to whenever we hang out for the rest of the month." She smiled proudly and Adrien groaned. Luka simply smiled.

"Okay, deal." He responded and Adrien scoffed as they shook hands.

"No, no way, no deal," Adrien said and Marinette turned to glare at him. Luka tilted his head quizzically.

"Oh come on Lu, don't give me that look. We both know she's in that weird Alternative-Rock-Only phase and we won't get a chance to even so much as see the title of a classic rock song." He whined and Luka opened his mouth to respond, but Marinette cut him off.

"You know, no one asked you to hang with us. For all I care, you're free to stay at home all by yourself with your Classic Rock obsession. Besides, your absence should be cleansing for the soul, so I wouldn't complain." She told Adrien and he chuckled bitterly. She batted her eyelashes innocently.

"As much as I would like to argue with you right now, I should let you know I'm much more polite and sophisticated than you'll ever be, so I'll just pretend your sad little comments were never even there." Adrien spat at her and she laughed.

"Yeah, that's understandable since your brain is barely capable of even acknowledging my statements in the first place." She responded in no time, averting her gaze from his face.

"Loudmouth!"

"Smartass!"

"GUYS!" Luka interrupted them.

"What?" They both said in unison.

"Focus, please," Luka told them. They grunted but didn't say another word.

"Okay, how about we meet outside my house tomorrow around 11 o clock. Filming should take us an hour or so, maybe two. Afterward, we can just hang for a while." He went on.

"Works for me," Adrien said and Marinette gave Luka a genuine smile.

"Okay, sure. Oh, FYI I'll have to leave around 4 because Sabine and Tom need me at the bakery." She told him and gave her a thumbs up.

"Where in the world is that idiot?" Marinette asked Luka as he sat beside her, passing her a lemonade in the process. He shrugged and took a sip from his lemonade.

It was 11:30 and Adrien was nowhere to be seen. Luka didn't think much of it but Marinette definitely couldn't hide her annoyance.

"I mean, you tell a guy to be at a specific place around a certain time, and what does he do? He-"

"He shows up a little late because he had to convince his father to let him go outside." Adrien's voice rang through their ears, finishing her sentence. Marinette lifted her eyes to meet his approaching figure with a frown.

"Sorry I'm late Lu, out of all days, Gabriel chose to play the father card today." He said with a sigh and Luka nodded his head in understanding.  He seemed.. sad. Marinette shook her head, quickly recovering from the urge to console him, as his idiotic smirk found its way back on his face.

"Well, um.. should we.. start?" Marinette asked and got up, walking towards the park near Luka's house. The boys followed close behind.

——————————————————
"Oh, no! Help me!!" Marinette yelled in fake fright as Adrien, dressed as a thief, threw himself at her. Luka followed them with his camera as they fell to the ground. Marinette growled at Adrien.

"Okay, stop doing that!!" She yelled at him breaking character and he blinked dumbfounded. Luka sighed and stopped recording.

"Here we again.." he whispered to himself.

Marinette pushed Adrien off of her harshly, got up, and started walking towards Luka, who was now rubbing his forehead.

"What was that all about?" Adrien yelled back at her while getting up. He took off the black mask he had been wearing and ran a hand through his blonde mess of hair in exasperation.

"He did it again, he grabbed my ass." She told Luka, ignoring Adrien completely. Adrien snorted.

"Like you even have one." He stated waving his hand in the air and she turned to look at him with a fiery expression.

"Guys I think-"

"I'm not playing the victim, I am one since I have to work with you." She yelled.

"Um, hello? Some cooperation?"

"Hey, it's Meryl Streep's fault, okay? I'm doing my best." Adrien told his best friend and shot a glare at the raven-haired girl. She glared back.

"Bite me." She responded.

Before any of the boys could react, their attention was caught by a taxi pulling up to the house right next to Luka's. A beautiful girl with wavy blonde locks stepped out and looked around.

"What the hell is wrong with you, both?" Marinette asked, her eyes following their gaze. She eyed the girl carefully and blinked.

"Well, my mouth drops," Adrien said at last and Marinette rolled her eyes.

When she turned to look at Luka, she was weirdly disappointed to find him just as mesmerized as Adrien, even more so.

Adrien started walking towards Luka's house to meet the girl. Luka paused, then followed shyly yet eagerly. Marinette watched them go annoyed and soon trailed behind them.

This isn't good.. Marinette thought.
