"Hey, Shuri, I've got to take a vacation day or two."
Shuri looked up from her computer. "What? Why?"
"Because I'm gonna go to Bryce's house this weekend to hang out for the day. We haven't seen each other in a while, and she wants to know how the job's going," I explained.
"Of course. You'll have to tell my brother about it, but I'll give you a day."
"Thanks!"
I texted Bryce, confirming that I could come to Kannapolis for the weekend.
