·Once Upon A Tethered-Verse (Book Two's extra bit)

Once upon a time, Amir Khan was a rebel. He was arrogant, moody, sometimes mouthy and spoke his mind, and a real smartass. But when he started diving more into his faith in Allah, his life turned upside down. He buried his old ways, and got his act right. He graduation from medical school and became a doctor, then pondered what he wanted to do next in his life.

Then, on a pretty summer day, he met the woman of his dreams. It was in the hotel lobby of where she was staying at in his hometown—Islamabad, Pakistan.

Her name was Luna Carlyle. He felt an attraction to her from the beginning, but he tried to play it cool. He didn't want to overwhelm her, as he noticed she was a newly single mother who also had her baby daughter, Sarah, in her arms.

Amir informed Luna that he was the one who tried to revive Sarah's father who passed away two weeks prior in the same area. That did not frightened Luna away. In fact, she asked Amir if he would like to hold Sarah.

He immediately thought of the baby girl as one of his own and truly enjoyed holding this precious child. For a split second he felt like Luna and Sarah was his family. But then, he had to hand the baby back to her mother, and depart from their grace. Many hours later, days even, he tried to look for Luna on social media platforms to check up on them. But it was to no avail. So he continued on with his life, pledging to honor his faith, and live life as a geneticist after being hired to work in a medical research facility.

Little did he—nor Luna—know that after she crossed paths with a tyrant by the name of Chase Marquette their first meeting would soon be erased from their memory. What happens to Luna happens to Amir, and vice versa. They are connected for life and was arranged by their species known
as "The Tethered Ones."

Amir and Luna are Tethered Souls, souls who have superhuman abilities and are paired as life-long companions.

For many years, Luna had to deal with many problems Chase brought her way, and he altered her memories because he was able to. He was always after her daughter, knowing all along that she was a tethered one. And little did Chase know that his young son, Matthew, who was also a tethered soul, would later be paired for Sarah. Matthew connected to Sarah shortly after their seventh birthday, when Chase had Luna locked away in false hospital as they experimented on her.

When her Arabian Prince, Amir, came flying to America to pose as a volunteer scientist in her building, he was able to help her escape, along with helping her best friend and ally, Cami. They also had help from Luna's secruity guard, Sergeant Colin Decker, who was there as a spy and tried to retrieve someone else, but unfortunately, there was no time to break that patient out. The group headed in different directions after fleeing the grounds of the hospital, and Amir and Luna had to get used to the being together in the same proximity; something they never thought would be possible.

The Tethered Species have always had one rule: Never meet the one you are paired for... physically. There were grave consequences when they do. But Amir and Luna had proven to be different, and their connection exceeded beyond the limits of Tethered Souls. They were Pure, and their love was timeless.

After Amir and Luna had a family reunion with their crew, the couple decided to finally wed. "Aluna" had a combined wedding ceremony so they could be legally married in the United States of America, as well as a Nikah ceremony on his Islamic side. It was performed by a well-respected Iman, Irfan Bhatti, who lived a few miles away from the location of the wedding.

After saying their vows and committing themselves to each other for all eternity, they took part in a ritual called "a blood oath" that joined them together throughout time.

A few weeks after the wedding, things seemed to unwind until one of their own turned on them, reporting the group's actions to Chase, who was also known as "the hunter." He was a hunter, who collected people with extraordinary powers, all the while having powers of his own from also being a Tethered Soul.

While on the run, the group decided to expose their powers and show the world  there was another species living among humanity. But Chase eventually caught up to them, capturing Luna in the process. Strapped to a gurney in the back of a van heading to an unknown location, Luna woke up and saw the evil, corrupted snake sitting beside her.

Chase taunted her and tried his best to make her feel powerless. But what he failed to realize is that Luna's greatest strength was the love she had for her family, friends, and her husband, Amir. After injecting Luna with a vial he had created called "the elimination serum", he hoped it would erase her connection to him as well as her abilities of being a tethered soul. But all it did was backfire, erasing Amir's memories and his identity instead.

During this time, Chase was also trying to alter her mind and change certain events, but it didn't affect her. It solely affected Amir.

Sometime later, Amir woke up in a safe cabin surrounded by allies, unknowing what happened shortly before opening his eyes. He felt distraught, confused, and didn't remember much. However, this event ended up raising Amir's old, rebellious personally, and he took control.

As Luna continued to deal with Chase and his antics at the new false hospital she was stuck in, tucked away in the outskirts of Stockholm, Sweden, Amir's soul was still inside his body, battling this personality on daily. He called himself "Angel." Both of them do not get along most of the time, and Amir has been itching for his physical body to retain his forgotten memories, so one day he could fight his way back to the surface.

However, that was not as easy as it seemed. Angel is viligant in staying put, and he acts like a total douch, living in the safe cabin, and peeking into Amir's mind.

Amir and Luna were now able to meet in their dreams since connecting their bloodlines, and all Amir wanted was a  bit of peace. Luna provided that for him, because his soul was joined with hers... forever.

Amir and Luna's Tethered Army are getting ready to do major damage, and royally screw Chase up the ass one day. This was just the beginning of their trials as a Pure Soul Pairing.
