Lyndsey's POV:

I had just finished giving Lacey her bottle when Niall walked into the nursery dressed in a nice outfit that he would wear out on the town.

"What are you wearing?" I asked. "I know you ain't gonna leave me alone with the baby."

"No, I'm not gonna leave you with the baby," Niall assured. "But you are gonna leave the baby and come with me."

"Go with you where? I ain't gonna leave Lacey!"

"Lyndsey, we haven't had a night to ourselves in a long time," Niall began. "Harry and Sara offered to watch her for us while I take you out to dinner."

"Niall, I don't know," I mumbled.

"No buts," He interrupted. "They are gonna be here in a couple of minutes so get dressed."

What the hell just happened? Did he seriously just talk to me like that?

The doorbell rang and Niall rushed downstairs to answer it. He opened the door and invited Harry and Sara inside. While I rushed to do my hair, Niall gave Harry and Sara a rundown of what they needed to do for Lacey. Before I went downstairs, I peeked into the nursery and saw my baby girl fast asleep. I smiled before quietly shutting the door. I went downstairs and followed the voices to the kitchen where Niall, Harry, and Sara were waiting.

"Hey!" I greeted before giving Sara and Harry a hug.

"Why don't you look cute," Sara complimented. "Is that a dress or a romper?"

"It is a romper," I responded.

"I thought so but I never know," Sara chuckled.

"Are you ready?" Niall asked.

"Yes, but no," I answered.

"Don't worry, Lyndsey, Harry, and I will take great care of her," Sara assured.

"Thank you!"

Niall and I headed out. He took me to a fancy restaurant but I couldn't stop thinking about leaving Lacey behind. I found myself staring off into the distance when Niall grabbed my hand and gently stroked my fingers.

"Are you doing alright?"

I nodded my head. "I'm sorry, I don't know why this is bugging me."

"Don't apologize, you're a mother now, perfectly reasonable."

"I feel like you are irritated with me," I whispered.

"I'm not irritated with you," Niall chuckled. "I just miss you."

"How can you miss me when you are with me every day?" I asked.

"Lyndsey, I'm not blaming anything on you, but we haven't been able to go out without Lacey. Things aren't the same. We just don't have time to ourselves anymore." Niall explained.

I sighed and understood where Niall was coming from.

"You're right," I admitted. "I'm sorry, Niall."

I had an idea but I wasn't sure if I should act on it. I was hesitant for so long until I had the courage to go through with it.

"Niall," I called as I stood up from my seat and walked over to him. "Come with me."

He took my hand and I led him out of the restaurant. We walked down the street before heading into the nearby hotel. I quickly got us a room and the two of us took the elevator up to our bedroom. I quickly opened the door and went into the room, locking the door behind me.

I turned toward Niall and pushed him up against the wall before crashing my lips onto his. Our lips moved with each other while our tongues clashed. I could feel my temperature rising so I pulled my lips away while I pulled his shirt over his head. I placed my hands on his bare chest and gently slid them down to his belt. Once his belt was off, I pushed him back toward the bed where he fell on his back. I slowly took off my romper so that I could tease him in the process. Then, I climbed on top and began lavishing him with kisses.

Niall stopped me and asked, "What about Lacey?"

Niall stopped me and asked, "What about Lacey?"

"She will be fine, she is with her aunt," I replied. "Now shut up!"

Niall smiled and we continued our night out.
