I'm Surrounded By Boys

Jiselle's POV:

As the two of us waited for the nurses to clean the babies, I lay in the hospital bed with Liam next to me. I couldn't wait to see them! Liam couldn't sit still because he was so excited to meet his boys. I've been in my bed for nine months and couldn't be happier to have them out of me. Before bringing the infants over to me and carefully placing them on my chest, the nurses covered them in hospital blankets. I cried as I glanced down at my boys. I'd been overcome with overwhelming feelings that I couldn't control. I was the mother of two sons, twins. Liam joined me in tears after gently touching the boys' backs.

"Jiselle, they're stunning." Liam blurted out.

I was too upset to say anything since I was sobbing.

"Ti amo tesoro," he muttered as he kissed me on the forehead.

We had finally become a family.

The babies had fallen asleep in my arms after an hour. We'd both stopped crying and were attempting to figure out what the boy's name was so we could put it on their birth certificates. Liam would propose names, which I would dismiss in a hurry. I had names chosen for the boys, and I reasoned that since I had carried them for nine months and endured excruciating pain during birth, I should be the one to get my way.

"Can you just let me have my way, Liam, they get your last name?" I fought back.

"Can we come to an agreement?" Liam laughed.

I locked my gaze on him.

"Can you accept that I was bedridden for nine months while carrying your boys?"

I finally got my way with minimal compromise after several minutes of wrangling. We decided on Asher Dominic Payne for the first child and Dallas Rhett Payne for the second.

"When I walked into that bar, I never would have guessed you and I would have this," I admitted.

Liam laughed, "Yeah, I figured we'd have a daughter."

I slapped him across the chest in a lighthearted manner.

"When we ran into each other at my photoshoot, I knew I was going to marry you," Liam murmured. "I mean, you dressed deliciously tight."

I hit him again, but this time in a humorous manner.

Liam said, "I love you, Jiselle."

I locked my gaze on him. We have a lovely marriage and two beautiful boys as a result of everything we've been through. I leaned in carefully and kissed him on the lips.

I grinned and said, "I love you."
