I found out that Jiselle was here in California for work-related business so I offered her to stay with Niall and me. She was on her way here and I was so excited that I found myself staring out the window, waiting for her to come up the driveway. Minutes went by before I saw a black Mercedes G-Wagon come up the driveway. Jiselle parked the car in the circled part of our driveway, that was across from the front door.

Once I saw Jiselle hop out of the car, wearing a silk shirt, black pants, and stylish jewelry, I immediately ran out the front door to greet her.

"Jiselle!" I screamed

"Jiselle!" I screamed.

She turned around and smiled when she saw that it was me.

"Oh my God! Is that Lyndsey Horan I see, looking stylish as ever?" Jiselle verbalized sarcastically.

We greeted each other with a long-awaited hug while we rocked back and forth. I can't believe she is here!

"I've missed ya," Jiselle confessed. "It's been too long."

"Me too, girl. I'm so glad you're staying with us for your time out here!"

We pulled away from each other, ending the hug so that I could help Jiselle get her suitcase out of the car.

"Dang Jiselle, nice car." I complimented. "The rental company really hooked you up."

"I guess it's nice," Jiselle shrugged. "But, you know that this ain't my type of vehicle."

I rolled my eyes and said, "Yes, I'm well aware."

She shut the hatch and walked around to the passenger side door where she pulled out a very expensive bottle of wine.

"I brought the good stuff." Jiselle smiled.

Iconic. I should have expected nothing less from Jiselle. If she didn't bring the wine then I would be worried.

We went inside and I showed her around the house before we went into the kitchen to open the bottle of wine. Jiselle poured the wine into two glasses.

"So, how have you been?" She asked.

"Pretty good," I began. "Niall has been busy working on his new album while I've been getting the new home together and starting a new book."

"That's awesome, Lyndsey!" Jiselle exclaimed. "The house is gorgeous! It fits y'all's personality perfectly."

"Thank you, Jiselle." I thanked. "I have been feeling a little sick here and there though."

"Really? How so?"

I lifted my wine glass from the table and explained, "I am constantly tired even though I get a full night's rest. I felt sick to my stomach a few days ago and last night, Niall brought home Thai food and for some odd reason, I couldn't stand the smell of it so I made him eat it outside."

Jiselle's eyes widened. I pressed the wine glass to my lips and was about to take a sip when all of a sudden, Jiselle grabbed my glass and pulled it away from me.

"What the heck? Jiselle!" I snapped.

Jiselle set the glass back on the counter and placed her hand, palm-down, on the counter.

"Lyndsey, did you ever think that you might be pregnant?" Jiselle expressed.

My mouth instantly dropped. I couldn't believe I didn't think of this!

"Oh my," I sighed.

I looked over at Jiselle and nodded my head. She instantly drank all the wine in her glass before saying, "Hold up, wait right here I'm getting my keys."
