Jiselle's POV:

I awoke the next morning to an empty bed. Under the sheets, I was fully naked, and I couldn't see any garments on the floor except for my own. Is it possible that I made everything up? Liam strolled into the room at that precise moment, carrying a Starbucks cardboard tray. There were two muffins and two cups of coffee. I blushed when I smiled at him. While climbing onto the bed, he passed the tray to me.

"I have your vanilla latte with oat milk and a blueberry muffin to go with it," Liam said as he handed me the muffin and coffee.

"Thank you, sir," I said as I lifted the coffee cup to my lips and took a sip.

Before I said, "I thought last night, was a dream," Liam and I ate a few bites of our muffins and drank a few sips of our coffee.
"Why?" He inquired. "Because I wasn't here when you woke up?"
I nodded my head.

As he kissed my shoulder, he shook his head and whispered, "I would hope last night wasn't a dream."

"Neither do I," I answered, laughing.

"Does this mean you don't want to pursue the divorce any further?" He asked.
I placed my coffee on the nightstand and gently drew his lips close to mine.
I said, "I don't want a divorce anymore."

His lips slowly brushed against mine as he prepared to kiss me. He drew back and looked me in the eyes when he was finished.
"Good," Liam taunted, "because it cost me a lot of money."
With a broad smile on my face, I pushed him in a playful manner.

I lay on my back, staring at the ceiling. Liam was lying on his side, his head resting in his hand.

"How do we proceed from here?" He pressed further.
"Well, I just bought a mansion in Arizona," I said, looking over at him.

He admitted, "I like the sound of that."
"Really?"
"It seems like your fine ass will be in a bikini for the majority of the time," Liam chuckled. "On a serious note, I'd like to be wherever you are."

Tears welled up in my eyes, and I hurried to cover my face with my hands, hoping Liam wouldn't see.

"Can you tell me why you're crying?"
"I feared I was going to lose you," I exclaimed.
He kissed me on the lips, reassuring me.

"You are never going to lose me," He whispered, as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. "I love you, Jiselle. You are the only one for me."

I slid up next to Liam and squeezed him tight. I vowed to myself that I would never go through anything like this again. I'm not sure I'd be able to handle it.

Liam leaped from his bed.

"Where are you going?" I yelled as I sat up.
"I'm going to phone my attorney!" Liam responded. "Get dressed; you'll need to contact your attorney as well."
With a smile and a shake of my head, I expressed my happiness regarding the situation.

"Grazie Dio," I murmured as I stared up at the ceiling. "Prometto che saro in chiesa questa domenica."
