Jamie wasn't supposed to go in Lucy's office. It was the one room of the house his father had rules for.

But Jamie didn't care much for rules and today he was bored.
The office was rather empty Only really having a desk and a treadmill in the corner. There were scattered papers on the floor and a pile of balled scraps beside a sad looking trashcan.
There was a cute windchim hung by the door and a black feathered quill on the desk.

Jamie went closer to the quill, it was made with one of his dad's feathers.
He smiled alittle. It was cute. Maybe when he learned how to use his wings he could give Dimitri a quill like this.

He then glanced down at the desk drawers. They had pretty silver handles. Jamie touched the handle and ran his thumb over the engraved design. He opens it and lightly shuffles through the files before closing it again and opening another one, he took out a file or two and skimmed over the information. Something about some Avery dude who's crazy.
The next file was even less interesting, just some teenage girl who was trying to 'pledge' herself to Satan.
Jamie snickered. Cases like this happened alot, Lucy would have to jump through hoops to give the files back to GG. Felt wrong actually letting someone pledge their soul when they haven't even gotten out of middle school yet.

He put the files back and looked around more for stuff he could play in.
His eyes landed on the paintings around the room, he walked closer to one and poked the textured paint.

"..I wonder were dad got these from."
He giggled "I've painted for you. How come all I get is the fridge?" He rubbed his hand over the paint, mostly just liking the texture.

Then he sighed "I'm still BOOORED" he turned away from the painting and fell against the wall, it bumped the painting and a folded slip of paper fell out from behind it. It was made of leave, seemingly preserved by hellish magic.

Jamie looked down at the paper with a curious look.
He picked up the sheet and unfolded it, it was a written letter with a picture attached.

"Shalom Lu,"

Jamie smiled alittle seeing his dads old nickname. It means this letter was written to him back when he was still an angel.
Unfortunately Jamie couldn't read the word preceding the name.
He couldn't read anything past the name ether, as it was all written in the language.

He sighed and instead looked at the picture. It was a crude drawing of what looked like a child.

It peeked Jamie's curiosity.

He couldn't read the letter, but he knew someone who could.

~~~~
Jorden flinched at the sudden shoat.
"JORDIE!"
He turned to see his brother excitedly holding a leaf up to him.
"I found this in dad's office! It's in...Well some language- Can you read it??"
Jorden stared for a moment before sighing and taking the leaf.
He looked over the words for a moment.
"It's Hebrew."
Jamie nods "Yeah yeah but can you read it??"
Jorden rolled his eyes "Of course I can."
He cleared his throat before beginning,
"Hello Lu,
I do not know if this will work, but I wanted to reach out. I know you are not very happy with me but it felt wrong to not tell you this.
I have birthed a child, and Adam is so certain that he is his.
But I do not. I do not wish to disturb you more with this, but I believe this child is yours. He has your eyes, your hair. He was given to me soon after you were taken.
