(TW/CW: Abuse)

It was a quiet day. It was a cold one too. Mid winter.

Jamie stared off at the flowers of the park and played with his hoodie's sleeve.

He was a bit down.

Well, more then a bit. His second longest lasting relationship just ended and he wasn't really sure how to feel.

It was mutual. Both feeling as though they needed to part ways.

But that didn't stop it from hurting, and leaving him craving the sensations of it again.

He moved his eyes from the flowers to the sky.
He watched the clouds for a little bit before slowly starting to smile.

It still hurt to have the relationship end,  but he was glad it ended on good terms.

"You know you'd think they'd have more matching stuff. Don't emo's like matching shit?"

Rack after rack coming up empty. Jamie looked through all the clothing and accessories on display trying to find what he thought would have been the simplist thing ever.

Just two things that were the same, but different colors. Band t-shirts were a dime a dozen and Disney shirts were nearly impossible to miss.

But for whatever reason there just weren't any simple matching items today.

He groaned and crossed his arms.

"..GG if this is some kind of prank, you're not funny. It doesn't even have to be red and blue!" He spoke to no one in particular and walked away from his current rack to check a shelf of headbands and neck ties.

"I guess technically I could go for the Harry Potter stuff. He is a Ravenclaw..but I'M not sorted and he'd probably complain if I took griffincore or whatever just because it's red. 'Wha- You're a slytheran! That should be obvious!'" He mocked his brothers voice then snickered to himself. "Green doesn't look good on me though."

He caught sight of a pair of headbands, they were cat ear shaped and covered in jems.

He picked it up to fully investigate them.

One was light with shimmery pastel gems, and the other was dark, sparkly ones, that gave off an almost night sky aesthetic.

"Oh shit. These would work." He smiled "Jorden doesn't really wear cat ears alot though.." He paused and ran his fingers along the gems.

"..Oh well, if he wants me to come to this con he better be okay with Joker in cat ears." He shrugged and went to the check out, grabbing a few small pins along the way.

He set the stuff on the counter and waited for the casher to notice him, while he waited he took stalk of said casher.

He had blond hair, dyed a faint green at the tips, but in a sort of bowl cut. The kind most people associate with Kpop idols.
He also had piercings on multiple parts of his face, and from what Jamie could make out was wearing eyeliner.

Once the mans attention was on jamie he gave a small flirty tone.
"Nice make up. Is it the brand you guys sell here?"

The casher smiled "Thanks. And no, I don't really shop here."

"Ooh. An imposter I see."

"Nah. Just a punk with actual taste."

The two snickered.

"That will be 6.58- counting tax."

Jamie nodded and paid up, this time glancing at the man's name tag.
