"Look what Coach Sylvester gave me." Santana passed me an envelope and i took it as I shut my locker. "What is it?"

"An acceptance letter to Louisville University." She smiled and I hugged her. "Oh my God, Santana. This is incredible."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." She pulled away. "It's the Nations top cheerleading program. But i don't know, i don't think i'm going to go."

I looked at her in disbelief. "What? Santana, you can't give this up. You got a full ride."

"Yeah, but i'm staying here with you and Brittany and that gay Warbler that i can't quite remember the name of." She shrugged and I gave her back her envelope. "No, you're going to Louisville.End of story." I said as Quinn came the hall with her wheelchair. "Quinn." I looked at her and smiled. "I can walk you to class if you want."

"No, thank you, Y/n. I'm fine." She smiled and rolled away. I watched her sympathetically and felt Santana punch my shoulder. "Ow." I punched her shoulder back. "What was that for, Santana?"

"You're being pushy. She's fine." Santana said referring to Quinn and I looked at her confused. "She's in a wheelchair. I'm being friendly."

"A bit too friendly. It's not like you haven't liked Quinn before." She said and I laughed. "And you're being a bit too jealous."

"Whatever let's go to the choir room." Santana said and I rolled my eyes. "Fine but we're still talking about this college thing later."

We walked into the choir room where Mercedes and Rachel where arguing.

"It was written for Diana Ross." Mercedes argued and Rachel shook her head. "Mercedes, you are wrong. They Bodyguard was originally written for Barbra Streisand."

"Actually, Rachel, it was Diana Ross and Steve McQueen back in the '70s." Mr Schuester walked in and Mercedes smiled. "Thank you, Mr Shue."

"I've been doing some research to prepare for this week's lesson." He wrote 'Whitney' on the board and Rachel clapped. "It's about time we did a Whitney tribute!"

"Are we sure that's appropriate?" Sam asked and Mercedes looked over at him. "You did not just ask that."

"I mean, didn't Whitney have a lot of problems?"

"She had a hard life, Sam. And?" Mercedes said softly.

"Look, this week isn't about passing judgment on Whitney. It's about celebrating her legacy, honoring her memory, her accomplishments."

"Which I would happily list for you." Kurt smiled.

"I also want you guys to use her songs to get underneath your own feelings. To express and explore what's really going on with you." Mr Schuester nodded and Finn raised his hand. "I'm sorry but I don't get it Mr Shue. What's really going on with us?"

"Well, for most of you, these few weeks will be your last here at McKinley." He said and I looked over at Santana as Mr Schuester continued. "Lots of changes coming. Lots of saying goodbye. To your friends, to your significant other, to the last four years of your life. For a young person, all of that transition can be overwhelming. So it's easier to focus on other things. Like not being able to say goodbye to Whitney Houston."

"What are you talking about?" Santana asked and looked over at me whispering. "What is he talking about?"

"Santana, it's okay. I get it. You're hanging on to Whitney because it's difficult to handle in your own lives."

"We're hanging on to Whitney because she was incredible and we love her, so don't put your baggage on us." Santana explained.

"You guys, Mr Shues attempt to understand us, though misguided, doesn't matter. What matters is that I start rehearsing Whitney's version of The Star Spangled Banner immediately. It is the Mount Everest of anthems."

AT HOME.

"They are so cheesy." Finn shook his head watching the movie and I shrugged. "I think they're cute."

"What are we watching?" Kurt sat down.

"Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith." I answered eating popcorn and Kurt took out his phone smiling as he texted. "Aw." I smiled. "Blaine sending you those cute compliment texts? Santana always sends me those."

"Yeah, i send them to Rachel too." Finn said and Kurt put his phone down. "Oh, this isn't Blaine."

Me and Finn looked at each other and back at Kurt. "Then who is it?" Finn asked and Kurt shrugged. "Just some guy I met at a store. He's really nice. We've been talking for a couple of weeks."

"A couple of weeks?" I looked at him in disbelief. "Why would you cheat on Blaine?"

"This isn't cheating, it's texting."

"Okay, sure, can Blaine read those texts?" I asked and he looked at me confused. "What? No."

"Then it's cheating." I looked back at the TV continuing to watch the movie.

TIME SKIP.

"Santana, please, go to Louisville."

"No, Y/n, i'm not going." Santana said as we walked into the choir room and sat down.

Blaine walked to the front of the class. "This song is for anyone who's ever been cheated on."

"This is insane. I didn't cheat on you." Kurt said and my jaw dropped, me and Santana both looking at each other shocked.

"Cheetahs have the fastest land speed of any living animal." Brittany added.
