I had heard from Brittany that Santana was back home and I went over to her house where her mother answered the door. "Is Santana home?" I asked and Santana's mom nodded. "Of course, she's up in her room doing laundry."

I came in and quickly ran up the stairs to her room where she stood doing laundry. "I heard you were back in town." I came in as Santana folded her clothes. "Yeah, I can't stand washing over there so I come here on weekends."

"Should've told me." I walked up to her and began helping with the folding.

"I forgot to tell you. Sorry." Santana apologized not looking at me in the eye."I've been calling you this entire week." I looked down.

"Sorry, i've been busy." She answered and I chewed the inside of my cheek. "Can you- can you just call me back sometimes?"

"Moni, I just told you, i've been busy." Santana reexplained and I nodded. "Yeah, yeah, I know but-" I sighed. "I already lost my girlfriend, Santana. I don't want to lose my best friend too."

Santana looked at me seriously licked her lips. "Okay. I'll make sure I call you back." She paused. "How was rehab?"

"It was fine but i mean, it's like it never ends." I chuckled and she looked at me confused. "What never ends?"

"This entire thing. I just finished rehab and now I have to go to meetings. I'm I just supposed to never drink again?"

"If you wanna get better that's what you're supposed to do, I guess." She said blankly and I stopped folding. "Why are you acting like this?"

"Like what?"

"Like we're complete strangers. Like you don't know who I am or what to talk about."

"I had a connection." She admitted and began crying. "When I stared at this one girl, I- I forgot about you for the first time. I wasn't even thinking about you. I was thinking about this other girl. I- I can't believe i'd do that to you."

"Santana-"

"I know. I know we aren't together anymore but I thought you'd be my only love. I don't want to fall in love with someone who isn't you."

"Okay," I grabbed her hand. "It's alright, Santana. You can see other people."

"But what about you?" She looked at me with tears in her eyes.

"I'll be fine. I know we'll end together, Santana and so should you. We have nothing to worry about. You can see other people."

"Okay, and- and you'll see people too. I just- I want you to know that I will always love you the most." She sniffled and I nodded smiling. "I know you will."

After that I went home. I knew what I said about Santana seeing other people but I wasn't all that okay. When we broke up, the thought of Santana with another girl never crossed my mind. It was something I should have thought about but I didn't.

I came home pretty sad. Sad about Santana and sad that I have to deal with all this sober. So much for Senior year.

"Carol, i'm home!" I yelled and shut the door.

"Good. I missed you." I heard Finn's voice say and he came in to view. "Finn?" I smiled. "Oh my god." I walked up and hugged him. "I thought you were in the army." I pulled away.

"It's a long story." He smiled. "How's Santana?"

"She's- She's good, I think." I nodded and he looked at me confused. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

AT SCHOOL.

"Yo! Finn Hudson!" Sam came in the choir room smiling.

"I'm just passing through to visit my mom and Burt and Y/n, and Mr Shue said I could come if I wanted." Finn hugged Sam as I sat down on a seat.

"Finn Hudson in the house, yo!" Artie along with Tina came in. "I thought you joined the army?" She hugged him.

"I did but i-i-"

"But things don't always work out the way you planned them to." Mr Schuester walked. "And I said to Finn the same thing I say everyone who comes through this club: we're family, and you're always welcome here. Even if you just need to take a break and think things through." He smiled and Finn sat down.

"First order of business: deciding what the fall musical's going to be." Mr Schuester clapped his his hands and took a stack of papers off the piano. "So i'm passing out a list possibilities."

"Peter Pan?" Joe looked up confused and I laughed. "Artie, you'd be perfect."

He looked back at me and shook his head quickly.

"Unique want's to do Hedwig." Unique twisted her hair and Tina hummed. "Tina wants to do Pacific Overtures, Miss Saigon, and Flower Drum Song."

"The challenge is picking something that plays to our collective strengths, and that won't set off a fire storm in the community like Rocky Horror did." Mr Schuester explained.

"You should do Grease." Finn said from the corner of the room.

"Grease?"

"I know cause the song I auditioned for Glee Club was from Grease, remember?" Finn smiled and Mr Shue nodded. "Yeah."

"Guys like it. Girls like it. People like my mom like it. It's about high school, and growing up, and being true to yourself. Plus, the songs rock." Finn added.

"All right, Grease is the word." Mr Schuester said and we clapped.

sorry it took so long to update✌️
