Morning had arrived the next day and Kirito, Eugeo, Ronie, and Tiese were all ready to leave. "It's nice of you to join us in getting supplies you guys" Ronie exclaimed, "No problem we can't spend all our time on the battlefield, isn't that right Kirito'' Eugeo snickered and hit Kirito's shoulder, "As much as I'd love to disagree I can't, those three days for me were exhausting" Kirito said while rubbing his shoulder. While Kirito may have looked like nothing was wrong the sound of his voice indicated there was, or at least that's what Tiese thought. 'To be fair this is his first full day he'll spend with us since then so maybe he'll tell us' Tiese thought to herself.
The four got teleported to floor 15s town and began to walk towards the market. "Can't believe we've made it ten floors above this floor and this town still has the best non weapon supplies" Kirito stated, "Well this game is primarily about combat" Tiese said, "I guess that is true" Kirito replied looking at the different shops, "what are we looking for again I kinda forgot." Everyone stopped and looked at Kirito. "You have the most forgetful brain and somehow you make straight A's, you're an anomaly Kirito" Eugeo face palmed, "we're here to buy more food as well as some ore to craft our new armor" "ohhhh now I remember, how could I forget about the awesome armor we're about to get!" Everyone then started laughing and made their way towards an ore vendor.
Once all the ore was bought the group started to make their way towards the food vendor, or that was the plan until someone shouted Kirito's name. The group turned around to see a short girl with purple hair running towards them. "Zekken? How'd you see me from over there?" Kirito asked, "you're the only person who dresses head to toe in black dummy" Zekken laughed. Eugeo, Ronie, and Tiese all just stared at the duo chatting about. "Uh Kirito who is this?" Eugeo asked, "Right you guys haven't met! Eugeo, Ronie, Tiese, this is Zekken, Zekken my friends" Kirito answered, gesturing his hands between the two parties. They nodded at each other. "Me and the Black Swordsman met a while ago but partied a lot more these past few days" Zekken told Kirito's friends, "by the way Kirito, I've managed to get some leads on the guild known as Laughing Coffin. They're planning an attack tonight on the Aincrad Liberation Squad. It's best we go, this could confirm our theories if it goes how I think it will." "I hope you're right, are the others coming?" Kirito asked, "Yes, well not all, Yuna has opted out as well as Strea but the others are in'' Zekken answered, "I can see why they aren't coming, I'm guessing you saw I was here and wanted to call me for the meeting right?" "Indeed, I hate to drag you away from your friends but you and I know how important this is" "Exactly," Kirito turned to his friends, "I'll be back later tonight, don't worry about me I'll fill you in when I get back." Kirito then left without giving his friends any chance to say anything.
Eugeo, Ronie, and Tiese all stayed in that spot for a while each with different thoughts, Tiese wondering who this Laughing Coffin guild was and why she never heard of them, Ronie wondering who Zekken was, and Eugeo wondering what his life long friend had been doing these past 3 days. One thing was certain though, sinister plans were afoot, whether it be from Kirito and his new friends or the mysterious Laughing Coffin.
Sorry for not posting last week and for posting so late today, life got really busy for a while. I will be back on track next week.
