October 31.

Halloween.

Alice shook Ophelia awake, early in the morning as they still had classes that day.

"Happy Halloween Fia!"

"Happy Halloween Alice!" Ophelia grinned up at her and looked around the room.

Lily was already up and getting changed into her robes. Marlene was in a deep sleep, no doubt having been woken several times before then.

Ophelia smirked at Alice, stood up and headed over to the four poster that was hiding Marlene. She gently pulled the blankets off of her best friend, receiving crude words of protest in return. She grabbed Marlene's arms and started pulling her out of bed. At this point, Marlene was awake enough to know what was happening and started to squirm out of Ophelia's grip. Unfortunately for Marlene, she had not succeeded, and ended up toppling onto the floor.

The three other girls began laughing at Marlene, who had shown Ophelia her favorite finger.

Finally, after convincing Marlene many more times to get ready and hurry up, the four girls were ready to head down to breakfast. Most of Gryffindor house were heading down to the great hall as well.

Ophelia scanned around the room for any sign of her brother or his friends. She didn't see them, but didn't think anything of it. She should have.

When the girls stepped into the great hall, they became incredibly confused. There were double the amount of Gryffindors in the room, two tables filled with them. She saw one table of Gryffindors, where Ophelia usually sat, with everyone laughing and looking smug. At the other table, where the Slytherins usually sat, everyone was looking around in anger and humiliation. Most of their stares were directed to the middle of the first table, where four tall boys sat, doubled over from laughing.

Ophelia walked over to those boys and sat down next to them.

"Happy Halloween Fia!" shouted Sirius. "What do you think of the Slytherins costumes?"

"I absolutely love them," she replied, moving over so her friends could sit by her.

She watched a boy with long platinum blonde hair angrily stand up and stride over towards the marauders.

"Malfoy!" exclaimed James, arms open as if wanting a hug. "To what do I owe this pleasure?"

"Change us back," he said coldly.

"But what's the fun in that? You guys need to be more festive!"

"Change. Us. Back." he repeated.

"And what if I don't?"

Lucius Malfoy pulled out his wand and pointed it at James' throat.

"Do it or you'll be sorry,"

"No, I don't think I will, Malfoy. And put your wand down, it's impolite."

Malfoy just glared at him, until James started talking again.

"You wouldn't want to hex me in front of all these teachers would you?" he said, pointing up to the staff table.

Malfoy glanced up at the large table which seated most of the Hogwarts teachers. He scowled.

"You'll regret this, Potter," he spat and walked back to his table.

"I highly doubt that Lucy!" James yelled towards him, laughing as he said it.

"Lucy?" asked Ophelia, wondering where that came from.

"Oh, I felt like he needed a nickname. You know, Snape has Snivellus, Lucius is now Lucy. I think it fits. And it makes him really pissed so it's a win win."
