"Fifi, we got a letter!" called out Sirius, sitting on a red couch in the Gryffindor common room as Ophelia walked down the stairs of the girls' dormitory.
"Oh Godric," she whispered to herself. "From who?" she asked, sitting down next to him on the couch.
"See for yourself," he said, handing her a letter.
My dearest Sirius and Ophelia,
I feel like it's been so long since we've last seen each other. I've been meaning to write to you both, but I've been rather distracted lately. You see, I've met a man who's just wonderful. I'd love for you to meet sometime, we love to- no I probably shouldn't tell you that. Anyways, what I'm writing about is to see if you'd like to meet up during your next Hogsmeade visit. They still have those right? It feels like it's been a century since I went to Hogwarts. How's old Dumbledore doing? Still a right arse? If we could meet in the Hogs Head Inn, that'd be great. I'm good friends with the owner, Aberforth. I might see if Drom wants to come with, I'm sure she'd love to see you guys too.
All my love and kisses to my favorite Black Twins (otherwise known as the only Blacks I like),
Uncle Alphard
"Uncle Alphard! I've missed that guy. Another man, I see. I feel like he goes through guys quicker than you go through girls," she laughed.
"The ladies find me irresistible, can't let them down," smirked Sirius.
"Right, I'd rather not be discussing this with you, we have classes to get to."
"What in Merlin's name are you talking about?"
"Apparition classes, duh."
"Right!" Sirius jumped up from the couch and followed Ophelia out of the portrait hole. She led him down to the great hall, where the anti apparition charms had been lifted for about an hour. The lesson itself had been rather boring, learning about the 3 D's of apparition and laws, splinching, and the liabilities having to do with it. Only near the end did they get a chance to practice and believe it or not, not a single student got even close to apparating into the hula hoop that was placed four feet in front of them.
"I think I did better than any of you dimwits," sighed Peter, walking out of the great hall with the marauders and maraudettes.
"Pete, none of us got anywhere," Remus said.
"Love you too, Rem," Peter blew Remus a kiss, which Remus caught and placed his hand on his chest.
"Where to now?" asked James.
"I've had the most bestest idea that's been in my head for the past few days that I've just remembered. Can we go to the library and I can tell you guys?" asked Sirius, practically jumping on the balls of his feet.
"You guys go ahead, I think we'll go back to the common room," said Lily, motioning towards herself, Marlene, Alice, Dorcas, and Mary.
"Alright, bye Lily!" called James.
"Bye, Potter."
Once the marauders and Ophelia stepped into the library, they found a table. Remus set his bag down as the rest found chairs. James put his head on Peter's shoulder to which the blonde boy slightly blushed and awkwardly patted his shoulder.
"So, what's this brilliant idea of yours, Padfoot?" asked Remus.
"Okay, this is probably stupid, but who am I kidding, I came up with it of course it's not stupid. We should make a map of the school that shows where all of the professors are at any given moment, so that way when we go out after curfew for pranking, we know where the professors are so we can avoid them!" Sirius rambled.
James' head shot up, almost knocking Peter in the face. "Pads, you are absolutely brilliant. A pure genius right here!"
"Why stop there?" asked Peter, deep in thought. "Why not add everyone in Hogwarts, that way we can avoid anyone who might get us in trouble. It might be interesting to see where people go if we can't find someone."
"Pete, every day your geniusness amazes me more and more," James said in awe, making Peter turn to him and smiling softly.
"We could label all of the moving staircases and rooms too, so we never get lost," added Remus.
"Phee, do you have any spells that you know of that could help us track everyone in the castle?" asked Sirius.
"I have a few in mind, but I'll have to do a bit of research," she said, standing up from her chair and going to scour the library shelves.
