Lily Evans couldn't sleep that night, laying in bed, listening to Ophelia get up and walk out. She walked down to the common room to see if Ophelia was okay, but she was met with someone who looked like Remus Lupin walking out of the portrait hole.

She had done it. Ophelia had finally confessed to Remus what she'd been wanting to say for so long. The couple were now on their way back to the Gryffindor common room, holding hands, and walking in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company and trying to comprehend what they had just done.

As the portrait hole swung open, the fat lady moody that the two teenagers woke her, Remus and Ophelia were met with all of their friends sitting on the couches in the common room, watching their every move.

Sirius saw the smiles on their faces, then looked down and saw them holding hands.

"I knew it!" he shouted. "I fucking knew it!"

Marlene, James, and Peter all groaned.

"You couldn't have waited until after Easter?" said Marlene, handing a few galleons to a smirking Alice.

"Pay up, J- Potter," said Lily, holding her hands out. James' head shot up and there was a gleam in his eye.

"You almost called me James," he said, trying his best to hold back a smile but failing miserably.

"No, no I didn't."

"Call me James, Lily."

"Alright, enough of your incessant flirting," said Marlene, throwing the messy haired boy a dirty look. "We're not done with you two yet," she said to Remus and Ophelia, still holding hands.

"So, are you two together now?" blatantly asked Peter.

Ophelia looked up at Remus. She wanted to be, she really wanted to be, but they hadn't talked about it, and she wasn't sure if Remus wanted to be in a relationship yet. Remus looked down at her, a devious look on his face. "Yeah," he said, looking at the group.

He looked back down at Ophelia, a genuine smile now on his face, "Yeah, we are."

Lily was looking incredibly proud at her best friend, holding in a squeal of joy.

"I hate to break you love birds up," she said. "But I think we need to steal Ophelia for a bit."

"I think we need to steal Moony for a bit," Sirius smirked at him.

Remus and Ophelia shared a playfully annoyed look before going their separate ways, each following the other group up to their respective staircases.

"Oh my God!" shrieked Lily as soon as they got into their dormitory.

"Did you guys kiss?" asked Marlene, picking up both of Ophelia's hands and shaking them around.

"Tell us everything!" said Alice.

"From the beginning?" asked Ophelia, slightly blushing due to embarrassment.

"Yes from the beginning! Of course from the beginning!"

"Alright," started Ophelia. "Well, I snuck down to the library to see if there was anything good to read-"

"You could've gotten detention if Filch caught you," frowned Lily.

"I couldn't care less about that wanker. Besides, he didn't catch me. Anyways, Remus found me. I don't really remember how it started, but we started dancing. Like ballroom dancing all around the castle. It was magical- no pun intended."

"That's so cute!" Alice said.

"Did you guys kiss?" asked Marlene, once again.

Ophelia blushed heavily, giving the girls all the answers they needed.

"Oh my Godric!" shouted Alice. "How was it??"

"It was okay," Ophelia joked. Marlene took her water glass off of her nightstand and threw it against the wall on the other side of the room. "Bullshit!" she yelled.

"Marlene!" Lily shouted, looking absolutely scandalized. "We've talked about this. Stop throwing your shit whenever you feel emotions."

"Reparo," muttered Ophelia, climbing into bed while the other two argued. "To answer your question, it was amazing. There aren't really any words to describe how I'm feeling right now."

"I'm glad you're happy," said Alice from her bed, two down from Ophelia's.

"Goodnight, Alice."

"Well Moony," Sirius said, slapping Remus on the back. "You finally got the girl, how does it feel?"

"She's not an object, pads," said James.

"No, no of course not. She's my sister, and I know I should be giving you the talk about treating her right, but I'll save you the lecture because we both know if you break her heart she's going to beat your arse up, no mercy."

"Well, I'm not exactly planning on breaking her heart anytime soon, am I?" asked Remus.

"Did you guys kiss?" asked Peter.

"Yeah," Remus blushed.

"Well done, Moony. Atta boy!" James ruffled his hair, earning a "get off me," from Remus.

The boys all went back into their beds, all jumping a bit after hearing a large thud from the opposite wall, followed by the sound of shattered glass. That was the end of their discussion, each drifting off to sleep.
