~Frank's POV~
Mikey had passed out in his bunk an hour ago. Gerard had sat outiside it, deep in thought, the whole time. I hated seeing Mikey like this. Gerard had been like this when we stayed in the Paramour Mansion, too. He had to work on the new album and worry about Mikey. Now he had to keep on with tour dates(tonight especially) and worry about Mikey again. But that was before he knew I reciprocated his feelings. Now I could help take some of the weight off his shoulders. I sat next to him, leaning my head on his shoulder. He was the perfect height when sitting.
"Gerard. I want to help you deal with this. What can I do?" I speak at the same time as Ray, who's panting as though he'd just run here. Gerard looks at him blankly. As do I. I may not have been completely clear on what Ray did, but I knew how Mikey felt about him. Even Bob knew. And our manager. And the bus driver. Everyone but Ray, Christa and Alicia. I think something happened that hurt Mikey last night. He's fragile, like a snowflake. And Mikey's like my kid brother. I stand, helping Gerard up.
"How can you help, Ray? You're the reason this has happened." He said evenly and curtly. Ray shyed away, looking down. He nodded slowly.
"Because he didn't give me time to explain. You know how I feel about him, Gerard. So does Bob. Frank can figure it out. I didn't mean to hurt him. I care about him. I wanted to tell him, but he ran away and woldn't let me explain." His voice chokes a bit at the end. He's telling the truth... I see Gerard walk over to Ray. Then he does the unexpected. He slaps Ray on the cheek and hugs him.
"I don't give a damn what you think. You care about him, we all know that. But you hurt him. I should have sucked the blood out of your neck in the night, but I understand. Just tell him when he wakes up." There's an almost silent rustle behind me as I turn around. But Mikey puts a finger to his lips and I nod, stepping back.
When they pull apart, Mikey's standing there as though he'd been there the whole time. Gerard smiles at him and walks back over to me, pulling me into his bunk before laying next to me. We can hear everything clearly.
"Hey Mikes..." Ray says awkwardly. Mikey says nothing. It's a creepy silence. Very eerie, to be honest. Mikey will usually give even a slight and quiet 'hey' if nothing else.
"So, uh, Mikey... I have... Something to tell you." Ray sounds nervous and scared.
"Go. On." You didn't have to be there to know his face was dead calm and his teeth were clenched.
"I-I think I may want to take you back to my room to tell you..." Ray says unsurely.
"Fine. Lead the way." He sounds ready to scream in frustration.
"Okay..." Then it's silent on the bus. Gerard sighs and rolls me onto my back, straddling my waist.
"You know what that means, right?" I shake my head. "It meeeans that Ray's gonna tell Mikey and they'll probably end up fucking. Which means that we have plenty of time to ourselves..." He kissed me then, rough, the way I liked it. I couldn't help but feel bad for Mikey. I was so glad that Gerard knew how I felt from almost the very beginning. And being with him, now, was still as amazing as the first time.
