The second my eyelids raised, the rays from the heating sun hit my eyes. It was excruciatingly hot and bright, tears welled up instantly as I closed them. The tears cooled down my hot cheeks as they flowed. My eyes weren’t the only thing that was hurting; my body ached in every way. As if I were doing exercises all day yesterday and now I was soar, other than the slight running from the wolves that was it. I wanted to ask my sister about them, but she never even gave me the chance.

As I sat up the spinning in my head hit me, my stomach did jumping jacks, and my body screamed out for mercy. I held my head, hoping that that would ease the splitting pain that was shooting darts up there.

I got to my shaky feet, with my eyes slightly closed. The feeling of throwing up made me dashed out of the room and down the hallway to the bathroom. I felt it slowly coming up, but my legs got me there in time before it came out and into the open toilet. Thank god for that, I probably would have throw up on the top…not too pretty. I would thank my father later about the toilet seat being open.

I clutched my stomach after I was finish, it hurt, but in a way it felt much better. Beads of sweat trickled down my hot face, making my hair stick as well. I sat down on the cold tile, but the stench of puke hit my nose, making me scrunch up my nose. I jumped up and flushed the toilet and put the seat down. Reading the sign on the seat: FLUSH TOILET AND PUT SEAT DOWN. My mom’s famous work, I laughed at her.

The cold water that I continued to splash on my hot face, felt marvelous, I was in heaven.  For those few seconds the water cooled the heat that radiated off of me. Afterwards, it returned within seconds. CRAP! I was coming down with something and it was nasty. The cold water wasn’t working, so I turned the water off, got a towel, and dried my face.

When I was finally finished, I took a fleeting look up into the mirror…whoa…I was expecting to see myself pale, ugly, and completely repulsive. Instead there staring back at me was a total hotty. This wasn’t me. My skin was much darker, the slight tan that was there before was no longer there. A small pink flush on my cheeks stood out.

My hair fell down my back in a dark tangled wavy mess. What stood out to me was the color. My hair color was brown; the hair that now flowed down my back was dark, almost black. It shined bright, it wasn’t the light above because I never turned it on, the only light that was on was the light in the hallway. My hair shined as if it had a light of its own. You could only see this kind of hair on a supermodel or Victoria secret model. My hair was just a little…messy. Could Izbel be that mad with me that she died my hair while I was sleep?…no she couldn’t have it was impossible. Of course I would have woken up.

I met the dark eyes that starred back at me from the mirror. The blazing dark hazel eyes were majestic. The hazel was like new polished wood, with the rim a bright blue.  Sometimes people’s eyes change by their mood, but my eyes never did that. Therefore, I shouldn’t be starring at the biggest change in my eye colors.

Still confused and bewildered by my reflection, I exited the bathroom. I wasn’t complaining, it was simple…I was sexy, like really really sexy, I was enjoying that. I just needed to try it out and go somewhere. That would be fun. I had no idea what happened to me overnight, but it should have happened to me a lot earlier in life.

The hurt feeling of my throat pulled me back to myself. Just out of comfort, my hand went to my throat to feel it. It was still throbbing from puking my…

“Ouch,” I hollered as I walked straight into Izbel as she came out of her room in a rush. I never even she her come out, I was too lost in my thought. The glare on her face showed me her dislike.
