Chapter 6
"Jamie? Jamie? Gising na." Nagising ako dahil kay Prince ng alugin niya ako.
"Ano ba? Matutulog pa ako." I said and I realize na nasa ibang lugar pala kami at aakyat pa ng bundok para sa video project namin.
"Oh. Okay, okay. Don't touch me. Good morning, Prince..." Bati ko sa kanya at ngumiti naman ito. Pumunta siya sa kusina at may nilagay sa pinggan.
"Oh ito. Nilutuan kita ng sunny side up egg. Ito nga pala yung natira kagabi. 2nd day na natin at ngayon din tayo uuwi." He said. Umupo ako sa lamesa para kumain at uminom muna ng tubig.
"Hindi muna tayo uuwi. Anong oras na ba? Pagkatapos natin mag breakfast aalis tayo. Pupunta tayo sa Museo De Baler. 3 hr and 26 min lang naman papunta roon." Kita sa mukha niya ang pagkagulat.
"Huh? It's already 6:54am. Maaga pa pero aakyat na tayo sa bundok after natin mag breakfast." Ilang minuto rin ang lumipas at kinuha ko na ang mga bibitbitin ko papunta sa bundok gaya ng water bottle, phone, powerbank, charger, cap, snacks, and extra clothe para handa.
Pagkatapos kong mag ayos ng gamit na dadalhin ko, nag ayos naman ako ng sarili ko. I put a little bit of make up, I fixed my hair correctly, and i put gucci bloom perfume.
"Oh? Tapos ka na ba? Tara na. Nakapag sabi na rin ako kay ate Devi that we need a guide, nagbayad rin ako ng 100 pesos." Sabi ni Prince at mukang handa na rin siya.
"Okay, let's go." Tipid kong sagot.
Lumabas na kami ng room at nakita namin si ate Devi sa may kubo na gumagawa ng tingting. Agad naman itong kinausap ni Prince at lumingon ito sa amin ng masaya.
"Ate Devi, akyat na po kami. Asan na po yung guide namin?" Tanong ni Prince kay ate Devi.
"Uhmm, Scarlet!" Sigaw ni Devi at lumabas ang isang babaeng maputi at maganda, but ako lang ang dyosa, okay?!
"Ito nga pala guide nyo sa pagakyat, anak ko si Scarlet. Maputik roon dahil umulan din kagabi." Nag hello sa amin si Scarlet at nagpaalam na kami para maglakbay. Yuck ano? Maputik daraanan namin? Pero wala naman akong magagawa dahil dito lang naman kami napunta. Kaming tatlo lang aakyat, nasa kaliwa ako, gitna si Prince, and si Scarlet nasa kanan. Ilang minuto ang lumipas at kitang-kita ko na mukang may gusto yung babaitang yan kay Prince.
Tumigil ako at hindi nila napansin na hindi na nila ako kasama sa paglalakad. Ang mga paa ko ay punong puno na ng putik at kanina nadudulas-dulas pa ako.
"Ouy Jamie? What's happen? Pagod ka na? Tara." Lumapit sa akin si Prince at pinasampa niya ako sa likod niya.
"Are you sure, Prince? Paano yung damit mo mamaya?" Tanong ko.
"No need. Meron ka namang dala ihh." Natawa ako dahil oo nga i have an extra clothe. Oh diba, handa ako.
Tinignan ko si Scarlet at kitang-kita sa mukha niya ang pagkalungkot. Awts, kawawa naman 'to.
"Hoy ano ba yan Prince!" Sigaw ko ng malaglag kami sa pagkadulas ni Prince.
"Sorry, sorry. May extra clothe ka pa ba?" Tanong nito.
"Oo meron pero dalawa lang 'yon. Harsh naman ohh!" Natatawa si Scarlet ng makita kaming nadulas pero hindi ko na lang ito pinansin.
Oras ang lumipas at narating na rin namin ang itaas. Sobrang ganda ng view, malamig, at kitang-kita ang magandang dagat.
"Doon po banda, Baler na po iyon. Dito Dinggalan po." Turo ni Scarlet sa may hilaga.
Nakakita ako ng cr sa may likod at nagpasiyang magpalit roon. Pagkatapos kong magpalit, binuksan ko na yung phone ko at binuksan ang camera para picturan ang magandang view. Nakita ko rin na pumasok sa cr si Prince, siguro para magpalit na rin.
Umupo ako sa may duyan at nagduyan magisa. Si Scarlet nakaupo lang sa may tabi habang tinitignan ang beautiful view.
Lumabas na rin si Prince at nagayos ng gamit. "Are you ready?" Tanong ko.
"Yes of course, love." Huh? Love? In your imagination!
Sinet-up ko na ang phone ko at pinindot ang start button para makapag video na kami. Nauna siyang magsalita for the question 'How To Protect The Environment'.
"How To Protect The Environment? The process of protecting the environment from pollution and exploitation is referred to as environmental protection. The overarching goal of protecting the environment is to make it a healthy place for the present and future generations. The environment is continuously facing degradation due to human activities and thus our planet is on the verge of depletion. People are exploiting the natural resources without giving a thought to its adverse consequences on the earth and its living beings. However, we can still come together and save our environment from the inhumane activities.
Ways to safeguard the environment:
1. People should start conserving water which is the most essential component of life. We should close all taps after use and should encourage rainwater harvesting to preserve water and combat the water crisis.
2. Save electricity by switching off all the lights and devices when not in use. Try to incorporate solar energy panels that do not cause any pollution and contribute to sustainable living.
3. We should use public transport to reduce air pollution levels. Also, we must not throw waste into the water bodies to prevent water pollution.
4. Recycling and reuse of products must be encouraged along with the use of paper bags instead of plastic ones.
5. Promote afforestation and reforestation to increase green cover on the earth."
Masaya ako dahil nakapagumpisa narin kami at habang nagsasalita siya, iniisip ko naman ang isasagot ko. Natapos siya sumagot at ako na ang sunod. Kinakabahan rin ako dahil baka mamali ako.

The ecosystem (all the communities of living organisms found in a specific place, their habitats and their interactions) in which we live provides natural services for humans and all other species that are essential to our health, quality of life and survival." Natapos kami magvideo at umupo ulit ako sa duyan at pinelay ang video namin.
"Are you believing me, Jamie?" Tanong ni Prince sa akin.
"What? Ngayon ba natin paguusapan yan?" Nagulat ako ng bigla siyang kumanta in acapella.

"Hoy! I said you can court me, not be my boyfriend." I correct him pero kita ko sa kanya ang pagkasaya.
