Dylan's P.O.V
"Don't call me that!"
I chuckled. "Admit it. Admit that you like my presence cupid."
"No! Never leave me alone!" She squealed.
"Di, Di...Di di..di di di cupid...cupid! Cupid....cupid." I sang.
"Shut up!" Sandy elbowed me in the side.
I hissed. "Owie. That hurt." I whinged rubbing my stomach.
"Ugh." She scoffed. "You're such a wimp."
I stood up, said "thank you" and took a bow. Sandy's eyes widened.
"What are you doing?" She hissed, pulling me back down towards her.
"Oh so now you want to sit with me eh? So eager pulling me down to sit next to you."
She pulled her hand back suddenly, my source of support disappeared and I tumbled to the ground, hitting my head on the table in the process.
I faked a scowl when she laughed at my pathetic state. "You're cute when you laugh." I blurted before I could stop myself and slapped a hand over mouth when I realised what I said.
Crap.
Good going Dylan. You just creeped the crap out of the cookie that you can't have.
"Hmm..thanks."
I faced her, eyes narrowed.
She said she wasn't my friend.
Why is she acting so friendly?
"Who are you and what have you done to Sandy?"
"Well..gee thanks, thanks soo much for accepting my thank you...greatly appreciated." She replied sarcastically. "Dilly boy." Sandy added on the end.
"Eh. My nickname for you is better than your nickname for me." I retorted back childishly.
"No. Yours doesn't even make sense. What part of my name even has 'di' in it?" She asked me, with air quotation marks when she reached the word 'di'.
"Oh it doesn't. It's actually part of my name. You know Dylan, has the 'di' sound in it.."
"Right so why did you used it one me then?"
"Cause I liked the thought of giving you a nickname after me."
Sandy turned away from me hiding her flushed face. "Oooh that's okay baby," I cooed, "You're beautiful even when you blush."
"Oh shut up! I don't need you to tell me that, I already knew that!" She replied with a shrug of her shoulders.
"Oh I'm sorry." I said putting my hands up in mock surrender. "So, I was thinking that, I needed a bit of help with my Engish homework. Would you be able to help me in any possible way?" I asked hopefully.
The bell rang and she sprang from her seat, slinging her bag over her shoulder.
Fine. Fine. Just leave me hanging that's cool too.
Sandy ignored my question and I raced to catch up with her.
"You know, you're a fast walker. For a girl." She whirled around and faced me.
"What a sexist, narcissist."
"Thank you."
"You're very welcome."
"So...what class do you have now?"
"The same class as you idiot head." Sandy rolled her eyes.
"Oh crap! I'm sorry I didn't realise."
"Of course you didn't." I heard her mutter under her breath.
She doesn't like you.
Shut up you over analysis obssessed conscience.
I followed like a lost puppy. I was pretty ashamed of myself as well but I thought that the only way I could be able to change her opinion on me was to suck up to her.
"So you have Science with me?"
"Oh noo, nahhh I don't that's not why I'm walking in the same direction as you," She replied sacastically.
"I see, wanna be my lab partner?" I asked suggestively.
Sandy wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Ew. No. I'd rather be partners with a frog than with you."
"Ouch."
"Yeah. At least my statement didn't blow up your already big head."
"No I meant ouch as in I feel sorry for the frog, having to partner with someone like you."
She raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms, "Excuse me?"
I raised my eyebrows, crossed my arms and blocked her pathway, "You're not excused."
"Well neither are you."
"Okay." I shrugged my shoulders.
She stared at me and I stared back at her.
She stared.
I stared.
She stared.
I stare-
"Phew that is a lot of sexual tension that I feel."
. . . . .dot..dot...dot
Our science teacher Mr MacGave turned the corner.
What the hell?
What a weirdo....
The bell rang.
Sandy looked at me and we sprinted to class together.
Mr MacGave looked up and saw us, hiding a smile.
"Welcome to my science class Ms Silverstone, Mr Laxington."
"Sorry sir." Sandy mumbled.
"No no it's fine Ms Silverstone." He replied giving her a assuring smile and nod.
"Um..okay then."
She took a seat in the middle if the lab.
"Today class we will be performing an experiment to do with acids and bases. We will..." Sir continued to talk. "Alright partners."
"Sandy and Brianna".
Shi-
What the hell are you thinking sir?
The class continued on as usual and I kept looking at the two wondering when they would try to attack each other and claw at each other necks. But everything seemed normal.
That was until...
There was a scream.
"Ugh..why did you do that!"
My head snapped up and my eyes widened.
Sandy stood there all covered in acid. And by her side stood Brianna with a fake mask of horror.
Fury overwhelmed inside me and I had the sudden urge to punch someone girl or not.
I clenched my fists.
Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!

My Tears
RomansaThere are many reasons behind tears and crying. Dylan Laxington is a typical football jock, well he would be if he wasn't so obsessed with tears. He's interested in the reasoning behind the falling tears, why they fall and how. Sandy Silverstone is...
