chapter 21: death of a friend

Jett pov

I wake up as Brisk has his foot on my chest getting ready to end me. as he begins to press down I can hear my ribs cracking as I scream out in pain, I begin to blackout but all of a sudden Brisk is sent flying as Richard punches him across the hanger

Richard:" you catch you breath and heal while I take care of this bastard"

me(catching my breath and healing):" alright. kick his ass"

Richard rushes Brisk. as he gets up, Brisk punches Richard cracking his chestplate, but Richard takes it head on and counters by slamming Brisk through a wall as they continue their fight. I get up after I'm healed and as I do Richard is slammed through the wall this time as Brisk walks in and charges him, they exchange blows pretty evenly matched until Brisk hits Richards chestplate again, this time shattering it. Richard continues to kick Brisk's ass until Brisk is knocked to the ground. as Richard walks up to finish him, Brisk turns around and punches his fist straight through Richards chest obliterating his heart and lungs

me(running over and grabbing Richard then holding his head):" no!!!! Richard!!! not again"!!!!!!

Richard(dying):" he's too strong man. you have to take off your gloves"

me(crying):" but I've never taken them off"

Richard(grabbing my shirt):" now you listen to me, you take off those gloves, you kill that bastard and you send him straight to hell!!! that's an order Lieutenant"!!!!!

me(stunned):" but-"

Richard:" no buts. do you understand"!!!!!

me(snapping out of it):" yes sir"

Richard then dies in my hands as I sit him in one of the vehicles. I then take off my gloves as a flash of energy rushes out of my hands and swirls around my body

Commander Brisk:" you seriously think you can beat me with that"

me(rushes him faster than he can counter then punches him through the roof of the base then lands in front of him):" what do you think asshole. I've had just about enough of your shit"!!!!(eyes begin to glow purple with energy)

{for the fight scene}

he then gets up and rushes me as I counter by flipping him over my shoulder slamming him into a boulder shattering it, he gets up as his face is all broken and bloodied, as he rushes me again and punches' me in the face but I just shrug it off as I punch him in the stomach causing him to cough up blood. he gets up again with his knife and attempts to stab me as I grab his wrist and move it down stabbing his femoral artery, he then falls to his knees as he looks up trying to pull that same shit he did to Richard so I grab him by his hair as he begs for his life
