DG Leaving party

Mike gathered everyone around to get in everyone order to pizza.

Jay: pizza? What's the special occasion.

Mike looked at us as if to say now is your chance.

T: right everyone. I thinks. Few people know Jody and I are besties. We are 16 and decided we are ready to start the next chapter of our life so, we have found a flat and we are moving out.

Candi: omg omg omg seriously. You shuts are the cutest couple.

Taz: yeh you are seriously adoreable.

J: well we wanted to figure things out so we have a little 2 bed flat. Not too far from here so we will visit all the time.

Mike: so this is their last night and we are going to PARTYYYY!

Everyone went a big mental but Tyler just put my hand around me and whispered.

T: only one more secret left Jodes.

I smiled up at him and wrapped my arms around my bump protectively. Sasha noticed and came over.

S: you alright Jody.

J: yh I'm just nervous. I mean to tell everyone. This is just one more step. My emotions are everywhere stupid hormones.

May-li eyed us and walked over.

May-li: Come on Jody I know it's emotional but please don't worry.

I couldn't keep it in any long I burst out crying. Tyler came rushing over and May-li was about to hug me to comfort me. I realise did she did she might feel my bump. I was so emotional but panicking too I did not know what to do. Then sash got in our way and cuddled to protect my belly from her. She is the best friend ever. This allowed me to breath out. I felt the baby safe against Sasha and that comforted me.

When may-li left I thanked sasha.

S: I could see your bump as you jumper had rolled up and then maybe would have left it as its rock solid. Only one day left try and stand behind pieces of furniture it's getting too risky Jody.

I decided to sit down and put a cushion in front of me. Not chance of anything happening there.

Everyone was having a great time. Bird sat down next to me.

J: hey bird, enjoying yourself.

Bird: yh, it will be strange without you and Tyler. But I hope you have a good time living together. All of a sudden Jay came out of no where to dive bomb into bird but he missed and went straight into the pill. I screamed out protectivly as he had almsot gone straight into my bump. Tyler came rushing over and knelt down in front of me.

T: Jodes are you okay.

J: urm.... Yh... Sorry it jsut really scared me. You almost hit my bum..... I mean belly you almost landed straight into me. Sorry I am a bit of an emotional wreck today leaving this place.

Mike came over and took my hand to stand up. As I did my jumper was not covering my bump and it was on show. Mike didn't see it and May-li was in the other room but jay and bird definitely did. And it didn't look like I was fat it was an obvious baby bump. I looked at them and widened my eyes for them not to tell and asked to speak to them in the other room.

We walked into the garden.

Bird: Jody, that bump you have. That's not food is it.

J: can you 2 keep a secret?

They both noded.

J: it's only for 24 hours then I will be telling everyone. But yes...

I lifted up my jumper to reveal my bump.

J: I am pregnant.

Bird: omg Jody, I assume Tyler is dad.

J: yeh he is. Hence why we are moving out. You cannot tell anymore but tomorrow once we've left we are going to come back and reveal it. Then Mike cannot split us up or do anything as we have already left.

Jay: I know I may not always appear it but I am good at heart. I promise I won't tell.

He then gave me a very unexpected hug.

Jay: our mum was young with Bird. We both understand. Please do not worry. You are Tyler will be fine and I know you will be great parents. How far along are you

Jody: 14 weeks

Bird: ohhh you've already had the scan, let's see.

I got it up on my phone and showed them. They both smiled. Tyler walked round the corner. They both went up to him and smiled.

Jay: congrats bro!

J: they saw my bump as I got up I had to say but they pursue to keep it a secret.

T: thanks lads.

Bird: just so you know Candi will go mental. She is always on about how you two are made for each other.

We all laughed and headed back inside to the party. Sasha looked at me and I gave a reassuring nod to say everything was okay.

...

After the party we headed upstairs. This was out last night in seperate beds. Tyler have me a hug goodnighy and a cheeky kiss coz no one was in the corridor.

T: see you in the morning, I love you Jodes.

J: love you too.

I feel asleep that night thinking about different ways of how tomorrow would go. I never imagined what would really happen though.

I am carrying out a box of my stuff when something fell out right in front of Mike.... It was the ultrasound picture!
