Tyler POV

So over the last few weeks we've been living at the DG. It has been really odd being a couple in front of others we spend a good 5 months creeping around and even before that we were still pretty flirty with each other.

Jody was now 18 weeks pregnant and she really suited pregnancy. Her hormones had balanced out and she was less angry. She could no longer box but she had taken up running she used to jog a few times prepregnancy so midwife's said it was fine for her to do as long as she doesn't go all out.

I was physically all healed from the assault but still shaken up. Jody has pretty much forgotten it as she got beat up all the time by him but I couldn't forget. I did really try to put it behind me.

In these few weeks we'd also found a job. Jody as a waitress, it is only temporary over the summer which works out perfect timing wise and I got a job at 5 bridges radio station where I interned not long ago! I was one of the reporters assistants which is a step closer to my dream job.

We'd managed to save up a fair amount but we knew the council would only help us towards a flat until we were 18 so we were saving all of it for a house deposit. We'd managed to get quite a lot of baby stuff from May-li and as payment have been baby sitting for Henry. He was 2 now but it gave Jody and I good experience.

Both Jody and I head downstairs for breakfast. Mike came in and said

Mike: good news guys the council has found a place! Its a 10 min walk away from here.

Jody was ont he evening shift and I didn't stsrt til 12 today so we asked to see it straight away.

On the walk Mike explaines that they are not putting the address in either of our files so hopefully no one will accidently see it. Luckily, Kingsley had been given a good few years imprisonment as he is a repeat offender and broke his parol whilst Denise was put in a secure unit. In between prison and safety to monitor where she went. They were both milenansd miles from here and were not allowed withing a 25 miles from us or our baby thank god.

We got to the flat and it was a first floor flat which ment only a few steps. We walked in and saw it was already semi furnished like out last place. It had a double bed, built wardrobe, a sofa l, kitchen table and all the household appliances like washing machine etc.

J: oh Mike this is perfect! When it is read yfor us to move in.

She squeezed my hand in excitement.

Mike: council jsut need to do final checks now you've accepted and should be good withing the next 2 weeks.

The next 2 weeks went very slow but we found out we would be moving the day after the 20 week scan! Finally the day of the scan had arrived. We'd both booked today and tomorrow off. After the scan we said we'd go to our park.

We did not need to discuss if we wanted to know the sex of the baby as we were both desperate to know. We did a little pole at the DG and it came back with most people thinking Boy same as Jody but I think Girl. We will both be happy either way.

We were back in the hospital waiting room but not so nervous this time. We were still by far the youngest but we had accepted that and actually Jody had joined some young mums groups and was looking forward to going to them while I was out working.

Nurse: Jody Jackson please.

We stood up and walked over it was a bigger room that the other one. I was so excited to see our baby again.

Jody sat on the bed and got her belly out. She had grown loads in the last few weeks. Compared to when we were here at 12 weeks she was massive. Our baby was the size of a sweet potato according to her app.
