Moving out

Tyler's POV

Today is the day. The day Jody and I move in together. The day we tell everyone we are having a baby. I am excited and nervous all at the same time.

I rush into Jody's room before everyone is up for a quick snuggle. As normal, I include our baby in the hug and place my hand on her bump.

Tyler: wow that grew lots over night. Just as well we are telling people today.

Jody: yes I will be hiding behind boxes all day thank god. And from tomorrow I can wear actual clothes ago, not worry about hiding anything.

Tyler: I cannot wait to tell my mum it's been really hard hiding it. Ik she will be happy for us really.

Jody: no idea what mine will say. And I'm glad Kinsley's locked up for a while. I'm sure Luke will be happy for me though. After giving me a lecture on how I really need to find a career now.

Mike knocked on the door. Tyler moved slightly to look like we were just chatting. He opened to door.

Mike: Tyler you know the rules. But I'll let you off since I won't be able to control you too in a few hours time.

Tyler went back to his room and I got dressed. My jumper really was not hiding it much anymore but I'll have to make sure to always hold a box in front of me or my jacket.

I packed up the last few things and started moving bits down stairs. I got to my final box it had all my important stuff. I saw the scan picture and picked it up looking at it. I saw Bird walk past and spy it he came straight in.

Bird: how are you feeling

J: alright I guess I'm just so emotional. I know mike and May-li will be upset with us. Also leaving this place is difficult. Tyler and I always planned to move out together but in a year or so.

Bird: Bound to be an emotional day but you will get through it. Plus you have Jay and I to help you out.

He gave me a hug which was really comforting. I put the scan picture back in the box and lifted it up.

Bird: want me to carry it for you.

Jody: no thank you, it's not heavy and I'm using it to hide my bump a bit more. But you can lift that one it's too heavy for me

He nodded and walked off in front of me to make sure I got down the stairs okay.

I got to the bottom and Mike was there looking at all the boxes.

Mike: Right I'll help you take it to the van. I bent over to put it down and put on my shoes when something feel out of the box and landed straight in front of Mike.... My scan photo.

He looked at it and looked back at me. Tyler walked in

T: what's all the silence for.

Bird pointed at the scan at the floor in front of Mike.

Mike: Jody what's that. Please tell me it's an old one.

Jody: urm...

Tyler: oh yh Jody isn't that from when your mum was pregnant with you.

Mike picked it up.

Mike: this does not look 16 years old.

He must have read the name at the top and the date as he went red and shouted.

Mike: OFFICE NOW.

I walked in with my head hung in shame.

Mike: and I am assuming this involves Tyler as well.
