Chapter One

Hyori P.O.V

School again.... I need more learning but I hate homeworks. First day of school, walking to the gate and enter my new class for the year. People that was in my way quickly parted just for me to walk at the hallway. I was showing my usual poker face but when the people parted just for me that really made me smirk and laughing crazily inside my mind. I know it sounds like a bad attitude but I'm not that bad. It's kinda my habit to do that. Maybe you are thinking that I am a queenka or something but actually I'm wearing my uniforms and telling you the truth I never did break the rules even the smallest one. I walk casually like how normal people do without any style but still everyone is putting their eyes at me. Like seriously!! What will you feel if you're in that situation? *sigh* Lucky me I'm used to this, since the first year they are already doing this to me but it started on the second day of school. I don't know what are they actually think about me? Am I that bad but it's usual for people to show their poker face. Nevermind, maybe it's better for me to think about our new classmates from the lower class. I'm waiting who's gonna get inside the first class with us.

Entering our class it's just the same as our previous class last year. Approaching to my seat that was already being reserved by Eun. She's waving her hand in the air signaling me to my seat. As always she knows were I would like to seat. My seat was just at her back and near the window. I like it just like that without anyone beside me. Talking about me at class, I like to work alone but even though i'm like that I still have a good connection to all of my classmates. Of course, I need a good connection duh.... I'm the vice president I don't want people to hate me. I know someone out there are hating me but they never have the courage to even talk something bad about me. I don't know, people are somehow scared of me but they respect and didn't hate me. Thinking of that it makes me smirk silently to myself.

Eun didn't talk to me because she knows that I'm thinking of something and just talk to Suho instead. It's her boyfriend anyway since last year. Hmmm.... They are seriously a perfect couple... *smirk*. The bell rings at the right time and few seconds later the professor was already there. She never came late to our class except when she's not well or attending some events. Yeah, she's in her late 40's and still looks young even with that age. I change my topic of thinking when I saw a few students came in our class right after professor. This year it's 2 boys and 3 girls. Great, one of them will must be seated right next to me. *sigh* Maybe it's ok if it's a girl but worse if it's a boy.... No!!! I don't like it... Please don't!!

Kai P.O.V

So, first day of school and I'm entering the first class... WOW.... I'm proud of myself better try harder this year... Entering the first class made my heart beat fast, I don't know maybe I'm excited or something. Looking around the class it's nothing special but maybe something great will happen here. The processor are already giving seats to the other student and I'm the last. "Mr. Kim you should take that seat near Miss. Park" She than pointed her hand to Miss Park's seat. I just nodded my head and walk to that seat next to her. Everyone was keeping their eyes at me like I have done something wrong. What the heck these peoples are weird... I focused my gaze to that girl who's gonna be my soon to be seatmate. I saw nothing wrong with her and she's also beautiful. I'm not gonna lie she's really beautiful with her straight black hair and fair skin. Wait till I see her near.

I'm standing next to the seat and was waiting for her to turn her head and look at me. Usual people do that right... They will usually greet you or maybe just smile *sigh* but she never did take any glance to who is sitting next to her. Am I that hideous? I silently sat there and take notes. Maybe she'll greet me later because she wants to focus. I know people like that do exists.

"Students, all of you must have a partner for every test and assignments for my Biology class". Everyone was getting ready to stand up and find their partner but as the professor continue on talking it all stop them and grown a little. "Your partner will be just your seat mates and no more changing that until the end of the year". *smirk* Which means i'm a partner with her, sounds interesting.... She finally turns her head to me... And that made me speechless, shock and scared. It's not because of her face but it's her the RARE girl and she's the Vice President. I never did saw her this near but I know everything about her RARE personality. Forget about that I should focus in working with her and once again I wanna say she's so beautiful!! "I wanna finish this assignment by this week the latest is by saturday. I know the deadline is by 3 weeks more but it's better that way, so we don't have to hurry when the deadlines come. Roger that Jong In". I blink twice at her fast and stern words but just nodded afterwards. Her face was so serious without any hint of smiling and she's so stern for a girl. Do a vice president need to have a very stern personality and if that so now I know why they choose her. She's not angry but she's still scary.

Hyori P.O.V

I'm ok... Even though I got a boy seatmate but worse he's my partner!!! Like what, seriously!!! I can't believe this. I never got a boy partner before last year I got a girl and that's already bad for me cause you know I like to work alone it's even better and I just like it. I also said about when are we going to finish the assignment but we haven't settle any of our time to do it. I'll just think about that.... I was actually angry with that partner thing but it's ok if it's only one...

Classes went by fast and the bell already ringing which means that it's lunch time. Before I stand up, "WOW.... Looks like someone is angry.... Don't scare him to death.... He's still a human..." . Tsk Eun sometimes do tease me, but I don't mind she's really nice. "Am I somewhat a killer?". "I don't say any of that..." *smirk* Saying still in a teasing manner. She's also really brilliant in saying other than me. Suho who's at the background only laugh at our childish act. "Enough you girls and let's eat lunch before times up..." Suho suddenly stop us. "Yes sir." Eun saluted. "You..." He didn't finish his sentence and just ruffled Eun's hair. "What's your sentence I wanna hear it.... Or...." *smirk*Poor Suho she always win in anything so it left him no choice and just say it. "Y-You are cute...". He blushed a bit upon saying that words. "Your cute to Suho..." Eun never gets embarrassed in saying anything as what people say it's called full with confidence. *smirk* She than just drag Suho out of the class and I just followed them from behind.

Lunch time is over and now back to class. I was walking with both of my friends and of course the people are all busy walking around the hall. "Hyori you walk first and we will just follow you from behind..." I just rolled my eyes knowing that she's using me for the easy way without getting bumps by people around. *smirk* Now I was at front than people saw me and as usual they will parted and give me through the hallway. Arriving at class, we than went to our seat and yet again his already there watching the class surroundings when suddenly he turn his head to my side. Ok, maybe this is the time for us to discuss our time for doing our assignment. "So about the assignment, I think we should start by tomorrow at the coffee shop near my place. Maybe it's far from your place but later the second day I'm going to the place near your place. Give me your phone number so it's easy for us to be in touch about our assignment. Get that?". He just nodded and "Where are your place actually?". While asking that he than handed me a piece of paper that contains his phone number and he wrote his name 'Kai'. Hmmm... a nickname huh.. "I'm living at xxx road xxxx xxxx". He than smirk and said "Maybe the second day will be just at the same place". I understand that it means that his living just near my place. I just nodded in respond. "Your phone number?" He than ask me. I'll just give him... For the sake of assignment. I than handed him the paper after putting my number and name. It's my not so formal name Hyori but I saw it just in front of my naked eyes he scratch my name and write again HYO using his unique pen.

Like really!? Do he really need to do that but what do I care it's still my name anyway and my brother called me that. I act as I didn't see anything and focus to the professor afterwards.

Kai P.O.V

*Smirk* Now I know what's her phone number. Yes!!! Victory!!! I think that's really is a hardest phone number you will ever get. I will keep it forever. But this is just the beginning, she's really hard to predict with the poker face. But she's still cute and beautiful even though she's always showing a poker face and serious. It's scares me sometimes but I forgot all of that after looking deep in her eyes. What am I talking about, stop that... *sigh* We will see tomorrow, I can't wait for that day. *smirk*.
