Chapter Thirty-One

"Good evening, may I take your orders?"

The waitress suddenly asked the both of them. Unconsciously interrupting them, making Hyori's sentence in mid air.

Jongin sighed in frustration that something like this would happen. All he wanted was to hear out what Hyori would say to him. He sharply glance over the waiter followed by a deep frown that was visible enough. Truly, he was quite glaring in a way that anyone could've noticed. But then he turned back to Hyori just how quick as how he glance over the waitress.

"What would you want? My treat."

Just how furious looking he was seconds ago and now he was smiling vibrantly. She blinked, noticing the fast changing climate in Jongin's natural expression. Utterly shocked, she couldn't say any words and it was enough for him to notice. The lacking of her to say anything in less than six seconds could've already make him worried. As if he might have said something wrong for her or did something bad.

"What's wrong?"

He asked with a frown, not knowing the reason on why she's acting like that. Turning his view towards his back as he quickly searched for someone or something who's reasonable. But nothing seems dangerous or terrifying to him.

"No, it's nothing. I was only checking on the menu up there" She naturally pointed out the menu in front of her view.

He looked back and noticed what she was seeing. The menu sticking up the wall. It sure does something that wasn't satisfying for him just yet. By just looking at it, he's purely denying the fact that she's seeing that because her eyes were surely somewhere else. But where was it? As he thought.

"I'm taking the yam ice cream with hazelnuts springs"

She was occasionally reading for the menu in front. Surely taking view of what she'd told him.

Jongin P.O.V

I nodded. Whatever she takes are all nice. It's not like I've got nothing to pay with.

"I'd take the same." Talking to the waitress without even looking at her. I know it's kinda rude but I hate the fact that she's seriously trying to flirt out. Like how stupid was I to not noticed anything.

No matter how thick her makeup was, I'd never think of comparing them. Even if Hyori came right out from the jungle, I'd kissed her. Without hesitation. Still, if she'd let me.

"Coming right up, sir" The waitress happily walked her way back to take our orders. Is it just me or she couldn't even noticed on how angry I was. Well, she might me blinded with my oh so handsome face...

Honestly, I felt like I'm not that much fabulous anymore. The fact that Hyori never noticed anything about me. Either if, I'm nice or handsome or cool or even anything... She still couldn't accept me as a normal human being who would care about her till death.

"So, what was you're saying... Just now?"

I questioned her back. The words that she might say would be something angelic but sometimes it'd be evil. But I absolutely don't know the meaning of giving up...

"I was thinking if today was yesterday... would you still want to turn back time?, At 3:50 pm?"

She was talking as if I wasn't in front of her. Her eyes were everywhere but me. Even though she tried not to make it noticeable yet I'm alert of it. That was still one thing to taken alert about but the first thing was the things that she was saying.
