"Say, where do you wanna go today?"
He was smiling while looking straight into her eyes. The most beautiful paired of eyes that he could laid his eyes on too.
"Would you stop that!"
If it isn't for his intense stare, she wouldn't felt so anxious and damn uncomfortable around him. She could've thrown the book that she's holding right on his face.
"What? What crime did I do this time?"
He shrugged not knowing to what he did wrong to her eyes.
"Don't be stupid... You know that I don't like things like that."
The annoyance wasn't hidden anymore from her.
"Woah, calm down... I have no intentions on doing that. I'm sorry..."
He shifted from his seat and tried to get his best posture. The fact that he didn't know on what she was unsatisfied about, yet he still wanted to get her out from being angry around him. That's the last thing he wanted to happen.
She sighed and continued on reading. Turning each and every pages without skiping any words on the previously white sheets of paper.
Legs straight out and crisscrossed on the grassy land as she leaned back on the side of a tree trunk.
"What are you reading?"
She ignored it for sure. Not even making an effort on giving any eye contact.
"How's the story? Fun?"
She ignored again.
"Is it fictional?"
She's definitely gonna hurt someone.
"I'm so tired, you won't even answer to any questions I asked... "
He doesn't sound anywhere near frustration yet his words shows it all just like how he had felt at the moment.
"Well, I guess... I am not... Sorry..."
It wasn't so hard after all to speak up yet she's just not that type of person who's talkative enough.
He indeed smiled, those simple words yet quite insulting were the best medicine for him to lift up his disappointments. He's already to immune on hearing her insults, those are just parts of a small fracture from her.
"Oh... Apology accepted. But, won't still answer to my first question? At least...."
"Shut it..."
"Argh... you're so naive..."
"Than, go away. I'm staying here and I'm fine with that."
"Do you hate me... that much?"
She looked up from her book, turning her head to see him straight in the eye. While her hands closed the book until it sounded much less like a clap.
"I don't find a reason to why am I supposed to answer that?"
He blinked twice making an effort to understand her.
"I don't have a reason on why do I loved you either! I tried to find it myself, but I failed..."
She looked at him and tried to stay calm. This time, she wanted to hear him out and understand the way he feels. Its been a long time since she'd been so selfish and she have to be rational on it. She wanted to know the depth of his thoughts no matter what. It's really been uncomfortable to be with this guy and yet she tried everything to push him away. He was persistent and undefeated by every moves she took.
