Chapter Twenty-Six

"I thought that you would be going to where I told you. Better if you shouldn't have asked me"  I told him over sarcastically. What the hell did he means to ask me where to go, when it turns out that he's taking me elsewhere. No, I'm not hating but just felt like being played.

Minutes ago I told him this 'I wanna go home...' and he replied with a 'alright' which is rather believable. So, let's see where we are now... for Pete's sake.

He chuckled shortly as if I'm just talking nonsense. "Well, Princess... did I just heard you wrong? Cause you just happened to tell me that you wanna go home. Right, and here we are now...". He's darn clever today and what makes that happen. I sigh and clenched my fist tightly. I don't wanna say anything but punch him right now, right here.

Suddenly, the front door swung opened as a women came out. Seeing me with short glances her arms suddenly reach out to me, just so she could give me a hug. "Oh... Hyori, how nice of you to be here.."  That caught me off guard and I completely forgot to do what I supposed to do. "I, uh... Well, yeah..." I barely managed to give a sincere smile and that's the dumbest thing I've ever done in my whole life. How could I be?, I didn't even managed to give a proper greeting. I'm not just talking to some criminals but to Jongin's mother. Yeah, we're actually at the opposite of my house which is his house.

Surely, we've seen each other in some business meetings and occasions. Which is, that's why she'd know me in the first place. Occasionally, I've known Jongin ever since yet, we never talked. Basically, we've been talking just because of the assigned seat and school assignments.

"So, mom..." He than started to brush his nape as he slowly continues. "that's her.." Suddenly, telling something to his mother that I don't even know about. I wanted to frown about that statement yet his mother was the one who's frowning on me. Oh, God... What did I just do?

"I..." She cut my words saying "No wonder you talked about her everyday.... She's simple as beautiful." Mrs. Kim than flashed a smile as if she'd received a medallion. I gulped, what did her son just told about me!?? I did not remember anything about being nice to him.

I've been always snarky, mad, angry and whatever bad attitude I've shown. Isn't I'm not sarcastic enough or maybe he's blind!?? Oh, my..., I don't understand!

The fact that I was freaked out was well kept as I showed a smile back. "So, what do you think mom?". I snapped my head to Jongin's direction on the right as he suddenly speaks. "Yes, yes... She's fine. Now, off you guys go...". Her mother replied while spinning us around to front the gate entrance and push us lightly. "Have fun..." She continues to tell us happily. I looked back at her and smiled just to see if her expression were real and glad it was real. But that's for Jongin as I'm totally horrified here. What did Mrs. Kim meant?

"Come..." Jongin then dragged me by grabbing my hands to his parked sport car. Face palmed, I'm defeated... Did he just used his mother to make me follow him. Aish, this guy really needs a punch...

He opened the passengers door for me and closed it afterwards as I went in. Seconds later he was in the driver's seat smirking while looking at me. I looked at him for few seconds and looked away. Hmph, I know he's shouting in victory or whatever it is. "Darling, if you're mad... I'm sorry okay..." He sounded frustrated as I kept on quiet. I wanted to ask what did his mother meant but no... It's not a good timing, I should play mad. *smirk*

He than sigh loudly out of frustration and slowly started to drive the car. Also, I wanted to ask him on where he's taking me too. But, yeah... I'll stay like this...

"Princess, alright... I'll take you home...". He sadly told me in a way as if it's the last day he'll meet me. What the heck happened to him!? "Like, why are you so sad about that?" Yeah, I managed to say something. Slowly, he turns his head to me with a sad expression and boom!! "Yay, you do care about me! As expected..." He looks back in front to focus on driving and I was starstruck on how his emotion changed so fast.
