Chapter Fourteen

Hyori P.O.V

I looked down to the floor. There's nothing much I could see anyway. It's enough for hearing the things that I'm not supposed to hear. Taking a deep breath, I wipe my tears quietly. It's just so sad.... I can't handle this. Even those boys are crying out loud and I'm just a girl standing right here. How can I not??

My brother was here too, he arrived here earlier than us. Well, good for him cause he managed to greet the person. But for us..... maybe it's too late. Jongin, right there.... at the end of the bed. I don't know if he's crying or sobbing maybe both. We can't blame him..... it's his best friend anyway..... If I'm in his place I would do the same thing too.

Even this person's parents are crying out loud. Who wouldn't?? It's their one and only son. Seeing his mother condition made me cry even harder. I admit it was a sad scene....

"He was my best one and only son. Hardworking, intelligent, and a nice boy. I'm blessed to have a son like him even for a short time. No one could change his place in my heart. I..... I....I.... hope he could find his place in heaven and I know he will. Rest in peace son...." That was his father, saying his last speech for his son in the funeral ceremony. He went down the small stage and Jongin was up next. He was the person's best friend anyway......

"It's been a long day, without you my friend and I tell you all about it when I see you again.... (He sang that part)I can't believe that I didn't managed to have a talk with you for the last time. *sigh* My best friend Do Kyungsoo.... you helped me in a lot of things.... why can't you wait for me to repay your good deeds? You're just too nice... Rest in peace friend...." He was crying at the last part.

Flashback

" The bad news is that D.O had been hurried to the hospital because he fainted at his home" Jongin told me as we were on our way to the hospital. My phone rings and I picked it up quickly, It was my brother saying that D.O wants to meet me. So, I reply back " Yes, Yes, I'm on my way there". He said alright and ended the call.

We arrived there as fast as possible, as we run our way to his room. They already told us where was the room. Arriving there and opening the door, the situation was already heavy. We were to late and I know that his gone. Now I would never know what's the words that he needs to tell me.

End of Flashback

"Are you Mrs. Park?" That was D.O's mother asking me. I just nodded my head once and she handed me a letter. I took it and ask her " What is this?". I was curious actually. She just smiled weakly and said " It's from my son, you should open it later. Alright". I just nodded back. After she walks away my brother then tapped on my shoulder "What's that?" He questioned me. I just said " It's just a letter". He just nodded back and said " Let's go home, mom is waiting". I shoved the letter inside my pocket and joined my brother walking back to the car.

Before entering the car, I took a last glance at Jongin and the other. It must be a really hard time for them. We than went back home safely. I went to my room and clean myself from all the sadness. Than I remembered about the letter, at that time I was already seated on the edge of my bed getting ready to sleep. I quickly stand up and take the letter on my small mirror table. Slowly I opened it, getting curious about the content written inside. So, this is it.... as I read it carefully.
