Chapter Thirty-Three

"I guess, we're safe..."

I nodded, but I kept my hands firmly holding hers, as if she'd disappear into thin air.

We were walking side by side along our neighbourhood. Her house was just meters away. It's already at sight.

I sighed as I felt deeply frustrated that soon I'd have to let her hands go again.

Every chance I got to hold her... It felt like the time stops for me. It makes me happy...

"I'm so happy..."

"Happy??? That we're not dead today?"

"Nope..."

"Then... Is it because of, you holding a girls hand..."

She rolled her eyes definitely annoyed.

"Well no... Of course not. That's the least."

"I don't know then. I'll play dumb about that."

I laughed. Honestly, she just didn't noticed that she can tell jokes.

"It's because you re here with me..."

"Ouch, my ear hurts!"

"The time that we've spend together was like a treasure for me. I'd like to keep it forever"

"Did you just?'..., you just killed me..."

I definitely ignored her and continued saying the things that I wanted her to know.

"I like you so much..."

I smiled as I take a side glance, half waiting on what reactions she'll make.

"You got me, I..."

I don't know... I just can't...

My right hand suddenly pulled her closer to me. I was out of control...

My other hand were already on her head. Entangling my fingers in between the locks of her raven hair. Her hair felt so soft as if I barely felt anything. I could've played with her hair sometimes. Cause I never did...

Her scent... It was unimaginable. The way I could smell it so near and so alive. It filled my lungs with every hint of her existence. The soul that I never get too close to... and right now she's in my hold. How can I hate the things that are so beautiful...

I kissed her soft lips. Tenderly and softly as if her lips were fragile yet so real at the same time. It felt like the time had stopped. I couldn't think of anything but felt so close to her. The thoughts of wanting her more were getting stronger as I hold her firmly.

She didn't respond nor did she moved. Then, that shook me back to reality. How long has it been? How could I be so out of control?! How did I not noticed her hands are trying to push me away.

I quickly let go of her as I took a step back.

She turned away and leave me behind. I don't know what to do but I managed to take a grip on her wrist and stop her from walking any further.

She didn't fight back and stopped right there standing still. I wanted to see her face so badly that I'd unconsciously spun her around towards me.

Her eyes were pinkish as tears streams out uncontrollably to her fair cheeks. She was crying so hard that her brows were frowning deeply. Her breathing were unstable and she looks so fragile.
