Chapter Twenty-Three

"Thank you for giving corporations students" The police officer than went down from the school's stage and making a slight conversation with the principal. The First Class students were all seated at the first row as they quietly observes the conversation between both of the people. "So, I guess it's getting quite serious..." The unconsciously sarcastic Grey was smirking to himself. 'Weird as ever...' Blue who was seated just next to him was slightly annoyed with it as she made a slight monologue to herself.

After the school's incident, not just anyone but the the whole media knows about the two missing high school boys. Everyone and high authorities was even busy about the case. Running here and there, trying to find and solve the two biggest case ever yet. IWSA was also doing some steps ahead in solving the biggest case.

"What do you think Jongin? Do you have any ideas?". Hyori spontaneously asked the person who was just seated right next to her. "If you were the one who's missing than I would definitely have the idea and also managed to solve about our school's hall bombing, and I think that's just classified...". He answered her in a serious yet in a joking manner.

"Hah?..." Her looks was showing that it was the stupidest answer she ever heard in her life. "Could you just be serious..." this time she was talking to him with the stern way. He just chuckled upon hearing her respond. "What? That was my idea..." as he continued to laughed again.

"Anyway, what's your favorite number?". Hyori finally remembered about her quest and straightforwardly asked him. "Oh, it's...." before he can even say the whole sentence Ace suddenly called him out. "Kai, Mr. Hamada told you to meet him now". He quickly stands up from his seat and only managed to say "Sorry, I'll be back..." to Hyori. In respond she just nodded and proceed on hearing the principals announcement.

'Aish, why is it like this!?' Hyori was kinda frustrated for being unanswered by him. Whenever she asks about important things he would be distracted with other things or works. She than sigh soundly 'Whatever, it's not like he'll be gone from school...' as she thought to herself.

Lunch time...

During lunch time, both Hyori and Jongin definitely forgot about their last conversation on the morning assembly. Just maybe if Hyori remembered about it, she would maybe just ask later...

For the first time in the year, all of the former First Class students were having lunch together in one of the long table around the cafeteria. Usually, mostly everyone would be busy with their works or on duty at school but today it's just fine. "It have been a long time since the all of us could take lunch together..." as Blue excitedly told everyone of her classmates. "Yeah, that's right..." Eunhwa exclaimed back with the most happy aura. The boys just coolly responded with a nod and a slight smile yet Hyori is the only girl who joined in with the same respond.

The all of them than made some slight conversation while eating their delicious lunch. When everyone of them was busy with their own world only Ace and Grey noticed about the person's presents. "Heh, who's next...". He was grinning while weirdly his left eye was comfortably closed. Other students would just walk past in front of him as if he was just a mist, dangerously having three sword by his side. Ace managed to take a glimpse of where the man was standing. Slowly, the unknown man disappears in a blink of an eye.

'Shadow Clan, we have to move faster! They're trying to move ahead of us!'

"How forgetful... I still didn't have his favorite number...". Hyori muttered to herself after being picked up from school by her brother. "Hah?... What?" Chanyeol questioned his younger sister while looking at her with a quick glance. "Nothing..." as she answered back quickly. The later than just nodded his head approving about it.
