When two worlds collide (Brittana)

Chapter 7

4 days later, Santana asked Brittany to go for their first official date. Brittany of course said yes and they had booked a table for 6pm at a fancy restaurant.

Quinn and Rachel were going to use this time to have their own date at the villa. Quinn was going to cook for Rachel as she was a really good cook and wanted to show she could be romantic.

- 5.45pm -

Santana and Brittany left to go to dinner, whilst Quinn was about to serve up what she had cooked. For starters she had made triple cheese stuffed mushrooms, for the main meal she had cooked a creamy pasta meal with garlic in and for dessert she had made a banana split to share. "Quinn, this is delicious. Thank you so much" said Rachel, her face glowing from the lit candles inside the dim room. It was so romantic.

Santana and Brittany checked in and sat down opposite each other in the corner table, away from everyone else. Brittany had a black, thin strapped tight dress on with black heels. She had her hair down in bangs with dangling diamond earrings in. Santana wore a strapless tight red dress with black heels. Her hair was curly and she also had bright diamond earrings in and a matching necklace, with red lipstick. "You look just...incredible" said Brittany. "I was about to say the same to you" replied Santana. Slow romantic music played over the speakers as the waitress lit the single candle in the middle of their table.

"It feels like I've known you forever. I feel so close to you and so safe with you, Santana" said Brittany, holding her hand on the table. "I feel the same way, Britt. I don't want this vacation to ever end" Santana replied softly. "You can't get rid of me that easily babe" Brittany said as she sipped her red wine.

An hour or two later, both couples had finished their dinners. Quinn and Rachel were sat close together on the couch watching a romantic film.

Santana and Brittany went for an evening, moonlit walk along the beach. They held hands as their feet waded through the shallow water's edge.

"Only 6 days left here. It's gone so fast. Let's take a picture together to remind ourselves of how our journey started, yeah?" said Brittany. "Let's do it" replied Santana as she put her phone into selfie mode and got the moonlight bouncing off the ocean in the background.

They took one photo smiling, one photo each placing a kiss on their cheeks and another photo of them kissing on the lips. "Perfect" said Santana. They continued walking and being in each other's company for a little while longer, before making their way back to the villa to join their friends.

All 4 girls poured themselves a vodka mixed with soda and sat around the indoor dining table. "Let's play never have I ever" said Quinn. They all agreed and started taking it in turns.

It was Santana's turn. "Never have I ever had sex in a public place?" she asked. Herself and Brittany both drank, but the other 2 girls didn't. It was Rachel's turn. "Never have I ever said I love you but didn't mean it?", all 4 girls drank. "Who hasn't" said Quinn sarcastically whilst laughing.

Brittany was next. "Never have I ever asked someone I've known for 2 weeks to be my girlfriend?" she said. They all looked confused and didn't take a sip. Brittany lifted her glass and took a sip before turning to face Santana who had now caught on to what she was saying.

"I know it's really soon, and really fast...but, when you know you just know. The more time I spend with you, the more I fall for you. I can't go an hour without talking to you because I miss you too much. So, Santana, will you be my girlfri-" she was cut off by Santana jumping on her whilst screaming "YES! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!". She threw her lips onto Brittany's in excitement. Rachel and Quinn clapped and cheered and they all ran outside and jumped in the pool. "Congrats guys you're so cute together!" said Rachel agreed. "Told you it wasn't just a vacation fling" said Quinn feeling smug that she was right. They all laughed and played like kids in the pool until they were too tired to carry on.

That night, Santana and Brittany went to their bedroom and cuddled together until they fell asleep.

Quinn was desperate for Rachel to stay the night with her. Not in a sexual way, but just so they could fall asleep together. Just to be in each others company. She took a deep breath and just said it. "Rach, do you want to stay in my room tonight? There's no pressure, at all, and I never expect anything. It would just be nice to fall asleep next to you" she asked, her breath was shaky. "I'd love to" replied Rachel as they got dry and ready for bed.

"Thank you, for dinner. It was beautiful and I have a great time being alone with you" said Rachel. "I loved every minute" replied Quinn as they had a kiss and fell asleep, holding each other.
