You hear someone call your name as you walk towards the clubrooms after Friday night's practice to put the unused towels and water bottles away. Turning around, you watch Yamaguchi running up towards you with Tsukishima following behind.

"Hey, Tadashi. What's up?" you ask as you wait for the two boys to catch up.

"Do you need any help with that?" Tadashi asks as he grabs a container of water bottles you held under your arm.

"Yeah, thanks." You say as the three of you walk up to the clubroom. In the room, you are met with Tanaka, Suga, Hinata, and Noya hovering over the latest edition of the high school volleyball magazine.

You show Yamaguchi where to put the water bottles and he places them next to where you set the towels down. "Thanks, Yamaguchi. It was a little hard to carry all of that on my own!"

"No problem. Just glad I could help." He says while scratching the nape of his neck, a slight blush tinting his cheeks.

"Can we go now?" Tsukishima calls from the doorframe to which Yamaguchi says goodbye and leaves alongside Tsukishima.

Curious as to what the four boys left in the clubroom were hovering over, you walk over to look at the magazine alongside them. Sitting next to Noya, you look over his shoulder to see the contents of the page that the four were looking at.

"Is that Ushijima?" you ask, pointing to the picture of a very intimidating-looking boy.

"Yeah, and he's really tall!" Hinata says as he makes a big motion with his arms.

Snickering, you return your gaze to read the rest of the page. The article was on the top five aces in Japan, one of which was Ushijima. The other four you did not recognize but found no interest in reading about them because they were all from different prefectures.

"This makes Ushijima sound really powerful," you comment as you read the article.

Suga chuckles and responds, "that's because he is, and so is Shiratorizawa."

You hum at his clarification and recall something that Ukai had mentioned earlier: Shiratorizawa beat Aoba Johsai and has been to nationals.

You get a small buzz from your phone and read a text from Kiyoko informing you that she was going to head home without you. Responding to her text, you put your phone away and quickly read the rest of the page.

After reading the page, you stand up and say, "Well, this was interesting, but I should be heading back home. See you guys tomorrow!"

Noya pops up as well and says, "(Y/n), let's walk home together!" You smile and agree as the two of you head out into the night.

"I'm so hungry!" Noya complains as you walk down the hill in front of the school.

You smirk and ask, "want to get something?" while pointing to the Sakanoshita store at the bottom of the hill.

"Yeah!" he shouts enthusiastically as he begins racing towards the corner market. You huff and run after him, barely catching up as he approaches the store.

Entering the market, you count the amount of money you have on you and sigh in relief as the amount of cash should last you this trip.

"What do you want?" Noya asks as you wander around the store.

You ponder the question for a while before answering, "I'm kind of in the mood for Gari-Gari."

His eyes light up when you say this as he responds, "Gari-Gari is my favorite food like ever!"

You smile at him as you run over to the frozen section, scanning the aisle for the popsicles.

"I found them," Noya says as you run over to where he is, "they're on the top shelf, though." He points up to the top shelf where the Gari-Gari were.

"I think I can reach them," you say as you stand on the tips of your toes and grab the box, making the soda-flavored popsicles fall to the floor.

"Hurricane Katrina? More like hurricane Gari-Gari!" Noya exclaims as he catches the box of popsicles.

You chuckle as you say, "nice save, Nishi!"

You help him get up from the floor as he hands you the box of popsicles. You head to the register and pay for them, leaving a small note for Ukai for when he gets back to the corner market that says:

Hey Ukai see you tomorrow morning. Why do we have to get up so early again?

Kinda annoyed but not really,
(Y/n)

and Noya!

Once you pay for the popsicles, the two of you sit on the curb outside of the market, digging into the soda-flavored Gari-Gari. Noya had already eaten two popsicles, leaving four left in the box.

"You must really like these, huh." You comment as you eat the popsicle.

"I love Gari-Gari, especially these soda-flavored ones!" Noya says as he digs into a new popsicle. You chuckle as you return your gaze to the night sky above you.

"It's really pretty out here at night." You say once you finish your second popsicle.

"Yeah, it's one of the best things about the countryside!" He responds as he finishes his popsicle alongside you.

"Where do you want to end up when you're older? Like do you want to stay here or move to a city?" You ask as you stuff the garbage you have collected into the now empty Gari-Gari box.

Noya hesitates for a moment before responding, "I don't know, but I want to travel the world. I want to meet new people and see different ways of life and be able to travel to new places."

You look over at Noya who is sitting beside you. His arms were supporting his figure as he stared up into the night sky, the faintest shadow of a smile tracing the corners of his lips as he stared off into the distance.

Turning to face you, Noya asks, "What about you? Where do you want to be?"

You sigh and turn to face the star-laced night above you before responding, "I've never been one to settle down and stay situated. I don't have a definitive plan, but I know I want to learn about everything and be exposed to the whole world." You chuckle as you continue, "I guess, we should travel the world together then."

Nishinoya smiles as he says, "Yeah, I would like that," he pauses for a second before continuing, this time speaking quieter, almost to not let you hear him mutter, "I would like that a lot."

I would like that a lot, too, Noya.

Although neither of you want to, you eventually part from your friend and head home. Both of you watching the same star-filled night sky as you walk.
