Tearing out a sheet of paper from your notebook, you folded it into a triangle and taped it shut. Tossing it at Noya who sat next to you, the football hit his arm, earning his attention.

"Wanna play paper football?" You whispered as he grabbed the folded sheet and messed with it.

A grin traced his expression as you formed a goal with your fingers, putting your thumbs together and extending your index fingers up. Noya balanced the triangle with his finger as he aimed for your hands and flicked the paper.

The football flew across the aisle and through the goal you made with your fingers. Picking up the paper, you aimed for Noya's goal post and flicked it at his hands.

You continued going back and forth for a while, flicking the paper football at each other from each side of the aisle. As bored as he was with the simple game, this small interaction made Noya pleased that you two were still close.

As Noya formed a goal with his fingers, you aimed the paper triangle at the front of your classroom and flicked it at your teacher. The football hit her in the back of the head, causing her to turn around and glare at the class.

"Who just flicked something at me?" Looking around the class, she made eye contact with Noya, causing him to snort as he buried his face in his palm.

She glared at him as he collected himself and held back a smile, looking back up to meet her eyes. You glanced at Tanaka, who was shaking his head while grinning widely at the two of you.

"Nishinoya, did you throw something at me?" Your teacher sighed as she crossed her arms.

"No, Miss. I don't know what you're talking about."

Your teacher shook her head as she returned to the blackboard, continuing the example chemical equation she was working on. Noya turns to you and gives you a look of relief.

"How about we don't do that anymore," Noya whispered as you nodded and snickered at what happened.

Noya turned back to watch Miss work through the equation, resting his head on his arms as he folded one under his chin and extended the other out in front of him.

You laid down on your desk as well, watching outside as a grey cloud drifted across the sky and covered the sun. Turning from viewing the scene outside, you took a deep inhale before turning to look at Noya.

He was half asleep, focusing on your teacher's boring lecture was the only thing preventing him from completely falling asleep.

You poked his arm a few times, causing him to groan as he stirred. Once he opened his eyes to look at you, you quickly retracted your hand and turned to look out the window.

"Why are you poking me?" Noya whispered as he slowly closed his eyes and opened them again.

Turning to look at him, you met his hazel irises and responded, "I don't know what you're talking about. It must have been my imaginary friend."

He scoffed as he poked your shoulder a few times. You allowed him to poke your arm before you grabbed his hand and jokingly poked him back.

When school was over, Noya, Tanaka, and you went to the gym for club activities. As you parted so the two boys could change in the clubroom, you walked towards the gym and entered.

Grabbing a volleyball from the basket, you played with it as you waited for players to arrive. Kiyoko and Yachi entered at the same time, chatting as Kiyoko opened the door and walked in.

"Hey, (Y/n)!" Yachi waved as she went into the storage room to get the water bottle holders for filling the bottles during practice.

"So, you messing with volleyball again?" Kiyoko questioned as you dropped the ball in the basket and followed her to get the net.
