Chapter 25- Endless Sky

Flashback to a few weeks ago

"Uno ginger bitch."

"I'm not fucking ginger bird twat." Dabi yelled throwing his cards onto the ground this was the 56th time in a row he was lost. There must of been someway he was cheating but the villain could never catch him. He clicked his tongue.

"Your one weird ass one Shimo."

"Touya."

"What..."

"My real name is Touya, birdbrain."

"You really had ruin the moment by calling him birdbrain." Dark shadow howled.

"Why do I know that name is better question."

"I dunno."

"Pfft... I can beat you at mario kart... both at mario cart."

"... your lucky we are both insomniac with nothing to do."

Touya manage to beat Tokoyami 20 times until Dark shadow covered his eyes and his bird using quirk guy managed to win. Touya had revealed about his past and they were now in a massive discussion. Here was where they made a mistake.

"You know that there's a Yuuie traitor probably?" Tokoyami said almost confirming his friends conspiracy theory.

"You think so too?"

"Yeh they knew our moves almost to well and the USJ."

"Well I've narrowed it down ish. I mean I've gone with Mina, Uruaka, Jirou, Denki, Shoji, Tsuyu, Sero, Hagakure, Koda, Satou, Oijiro... actually almost half the class never mind?" Touya realised and sighed.

"Yeh I was about to say narrowing something down doesn't listing half the class but it's not Uruaka or Jirou or Shoji or Oijirou or Hagakure." He smirked. Dark shadow opened his beak and said, "that's called narrowing it down 'Shimo'"

"Oh piss off."

Touya crept out of the window and went back to his room to rest noting his hair and the scars  that were slowing appearing. If only Touya had used the door he would have noticed...

Tokoyami closed his eyes and took off his cloak and about 40 uno cards fell out of his coat. He couldn't help but laugh as he picked up the 10 decks of 4+ and wild cards. He had cheated... I mean it's just a game with three competitive people.

While this was happening Touya was getting laughed at by Shirokumo because "he had no friends and he would never get attached to anyone hiss hiss."

Back to the now...

The white ish red head boy began to run to the fighting and nit the swarm of black from the distance.

Ah Toko must be doing something... maybe we can play uno since when was I a kid. And since when did I began to treat him like a son or a brother. Touya thought as he walked to the forest. He wasn't paying attention much to his surrounding until he heard.

"I'm sorry Shigaraki we lost Kurogiri and Dabi." It was Mister compress (p.s This guy should not wear a mask like he is so hot). "Why yes I've got our transport our but why are we attacking. Ah yes a dark bird knows about your informant."

Bird... informant. Touya laughed. Hold up... dark bird = Tokoyami.... Informant = traitor. They heard our conversation! Shit.

Blood slowly dripped down from Tokoyami stomach as tears slowly formed in his eyes. He didn't want to die not now at least. He wanted to become an adult. His eyelid however suddenly felt so heavy. A bullet went straight through him at his moment of hesitation... at the one moment of weakness. He could hear his friends crying and screaming his name. They were now just background music notes... they sounded so minor so melancholy. Oh how he would miss his friends. They never treated him different not for one second. He coughed and smiled. His limb slowly became sleepy and he fell to the ground.

"NOOOO. Please no."

Those were the only audible word as the darkness called to him... but not like before it felt more comforting. More safe. He opened his eyes to look up at the endless sky. He watched the cloud slowly shifting and he could of sworn one of the clouds were a picture... a fleeting memory of him and his friends smiling.

"Dark shadow I think it our time." He whispered softly

He could feel dark shadow shake. It wasn't just Tokoyami who was going to die today but his life time partner and friend. The darkness clawed at him as he lay there in the ruins of a battle. The world started to dull down and the voice well the slowly began to became quieter as if you were waking up in the morning to nothing more than just sweet little tweeting birds. He felt Dark Shadow hug him and hold him. You see Dark shadow was never really just a quirk. He was more like a brother to the boy.

He hugged back as the darkness or rather the light began to pull him in. Maybe death wasn't such a bad prospect. Maybe it was the reward you got for a life well served. The boy closed his eyes. It's just like sleeping.

Both Shoji and Touya ran but weren't going to even get to Tokoyami as they saw a portal open... but how? Oboro wasn't- the world had began to spin. Flashing colours Toko blood slow,y drilling a puddle on the ground. Touya felt sick. He placed his had onto the ground as his eyes lit up. He began to breathe heavily. No. No. No. No. No. This wasn't happening. He noticed Shoji whose mask was torn and...

FIRE.

It raged on and whipped round them as Inuit cam straight from hell. The tears streamed his cheeks, he failed another person. He wasn't meant to get a attached this what happens. You always lose the people you care about until his felt a hand.

"Touya? Go fuck hawks." Tokoyami said, "Inscribe those on in bold as my last words."

"Your not gonna die your not gonna die." Both his friends chanted but his eyes were already closed.

Dark shadow as he faded away place a small item into the older boys hands.
